  1. Okay thank you for the advice! I will just wait and check back.
  2. I was just wondering if someone could explain how to show what clubs are in your bag?
  3. It all depends go to a launch monitor because with the RBZ clubs when you adjust the loft you also adjust the face angle. So i would go and try the 3 out first and you can see if that is the right distance for you. Also if you tend to draw or fade a hybrid you can get the 2 or 3 and change them to what fits you best. Making the loft higher should make you draw the ball and lowering the degrees should make you fade it more.
  4. Yes that is true but you can also get the exact same thing it would just have an upcharge. But they are still pretty similar just a little bit different torque and spin but pretty similar.
  5. That is another good shaft. I personally believe that the rip alpha spins a little bit less than the matrix. You said you didn't really want to drop the money but give the diamana ahina a try. I spin the ball to much and play an x flex also and when i do buy a new driver that is what i probably will put in.
  6. did you try the callaway razr fit extreme? I believe that that exact shaft is no upcharge through them. If you are looking for the bigger head go with the 10.5* also because it is already a low spinning driver but the 460 head will give you more forgiveness than the 420cc ( i think) in the 9.5* and 8.5*.
  7. Did you go to Lincoln or SI? Nice all the way from Pacifica to Santa Clara today. I love all the courses around here even the ones that are not always in good shape such as sharp park.
  8. Check http://valueguide.pga.com/ you can see what the trade in value at a golf store would be and you can also see what the last one sold for on ebay.
  9. Shortening makes them more flat. I was recently getting fit for Ping i20's and the rep for Ping said that I should either go std length and red dot (.75* flat) or I could go 1/2 inch short and black dot (std lie). The shortening of the club 1/2 inch changes the lie angle by .75 degrees at least on my pings. It also changes the swingweight.
  10. So we you can have someone cut the clubs down but depending on how much you do have them cut the weight of the club changes. I suggest not cutting clubs really more than 1/2 or at most 1 inch. But since you are just beginning it probably is not a huge deal and you can do that to save money and then buy a pre cut down set if you like the sport.
  11. I actually sell golf shoes and the only other way to tighten your laces is too....... tie them. I have a pair of the FJ's with the boa's (I have like 7 pairs of golf shoes) and the FJ's are my favorite. I would recommend buying a pair.
  12. It changes both because there are two different settings. I am not sure what one does what but either the letters or the numbers change the loft and the other one changes the face angle. Use http://www.titleist.com/golf-clubs/913-performance-guide/ .
  13. The thing with trackman is that you need to look at the carry distance because the 7 iron is not going to roll as much as they do on the monitor.
  14. I don't know if I want to give advice to a knicks fan... Go WARRIORS! But since you are around a 20 handicap I would not reccomend a 3wd. Try a 4wd, it will be a lot easier to get it up in the air and will most likely go further for you. The rocketballz 3wd was already low launching and a 4wd would just help a little. Other than that all I would add would be a sandwedge. If you like the feel of the rocketballz you can get a rocketballz sandwedge also. Good luck getting back into the game.
  15. Thank you for the advice! I am just wondering because I am launching the ball to high because of the lite shaft. But thank you for the great advice.
  16. Hi everybody, I was just wondering if anyone knew how I could make it so the shaft on my club feels heavier. I ordered a 3wd with a 70 gram shaft and it is to light. Should I add lead tape to the head? Any one have any suggestions. Thank you

  18. Me too! Mine came in but when I went to get them I had a lot of specs that were different and Ping messed up a little on them so we sent them back. Should be in next week.
  19. I have not found a fairway I can hit very well... So I hit driver off the deck, which surprising with an 8.5 head I can actually hit really well...
  20. It is finally coming in! Going to take it out on Saturday. I am excited to go out and play it.
  21. Irons finally came in! Ecxited to play them, they will finally be out on the course on Saturday.
  22. It depends on the person because things like degrees open or closed to effect the loft and the companies fight those clubs exactly for the pro. I know Phil Mickelson uses a Razr Fit Extreme but it is nothing like the Razr Fit Extreme that sits on every shelf. The driver that sits on the shelf goes anywhere from 3* open to neutral and when he was trying that out he was slicing the ball all over the place. So Callaway made a driver that would not be as open. They did this by adding a Titanium COG ( weight) to the back end of the driver head. This made it so he could draw the ball a lot easier, which right now he is hitting the hell out of that driver. I have heard that there were only a few of the COGs made and this is not something in the drivers on the shelf. I am not sure about any other cases on the tour though.
  23. I have hit the shafts that are not a huge upcharge. I live by a Golf mart so I have hit the shafts and the kbs performed the best. Spun the least and launched the best. On the machines I was hitting at with almost all other irons my spin with a 7 iron was almost 8000. and that is with a low spinning ball. And right after I started hitting the I20 my spin dropped to around 3500 with a low spin ball. The distance on the machine increased by almost 20 yards also.
  24. How do you like the feel of them? Thank you for the input. I appreciate it. Did they charge you an upcharge on the shaft?
  25. I work at a golf store and the easiest way for me to explain to customers the difference between the three balls is I start by comparing the E5 and E6. The E5 is the softest of the E series meaning it will go the shortest but have the most playability around the green. The E6 has a little feel but is more of a distance ball. The Titleist will play somewhere in between the E5 and E6 but closer to the E6. For the mainly US releases by Titleist, I believe that the DT solo is Titleist's second hardest ball, behind the velocity (Titleist's pure distance ball.) There are Japanese released balls that you can buy here that are going to be really hard golf balls. My main point is that the order from softest to hardest will go E5, DT solo, E6. (all of this is relative to how it feels to you) I reccomend trying them out for yourself to see what you like. I don't know what ball i want to play yet so i currently have 5 different types in my golf bag to see what i like.
