I don't have a swing video, but will try to get one. I play the ball a little further up in my stance like I'm using the driver.

Hello everyone, I'm having an issue playing my 3 wood from the fairway....seems I get hardly no distance from it, maybe 100 yards or so and normally if I don't "top" the ball like a dumbass and do get decent contact on it, the ball flight will start fairly straight for the first 50 yards or so, then slice left a good 10-20 yards killing my distance and getting me into hazards/out of bounds. I know I have fairly slow clubhead speed (tested at Golfsmith the other day) so I know I'll never get 300 yard shots from the club, but if I could at least get about 150 yards nice and straight, I will be happy with that. I did take lessons about 3 years ago and that helped get my overall score down from 120-130 to about 100-105 and I have had a couple of rounds in the 90's already this year just by playing a little more often, but I'm looking to get over the hump so to speak. Thanks for your help!

I also enjoy watching the instructional shows but worry that trying to incorporate everything they show would really mess with your swing...and your mind....but still fun to watch anyway. I also liked watching "Big Break Greenbriar" but had no idea that was the 5th or 6th series. I thought it was a one-off competition. I wish they would show the others, although they did show "Big Break Atlantis" which was really cool.

Hello everyone, My name is Al, I'm originally from Rhode Island but moved to Texas 6 years ago. I started playing golf around 1994 and played pretty much every weekend until about 1999, then took a long break. I just started back up again last year and now that my son is older (20), we have been playing together. I normally shoot in the low 100's but have shot a 94 and 92 in the last month. I would like to get down into the 80's consistently. I look forward to making new friends here and learning as much as possible.
