  2. IT'S OFFICIAL!!! The Titleist 735cm "CHROME" DGS300 Stiff w/ stock chord grips will be in my bag soon. I should be getting it with in three to five days, just in time for me to get use to it and use it in our March 11th tournament. I will be going to Las Vegas as well in April for a two day tournament. The only thing that I am worried about are the chord grips. I am not that fond of them but it shouldn't be a problem getting them replaced. How much does it cost to replace grips (3-P) on a set of irons. I have the Golf Pride Tour Velvet rubber grips in mind. I like those a lot!!! Thanks again guys...I will let you know how these irons work out for me.
  3. Well it's official. I just purchased a set of Titleist 735cm 'CHROME' DGS300 Stiff with stock chord grips. Thanks guys!
  4. Well guys, i've been droooling over the Titleist 735cm over the past month, although I haven't exactly taken them out on the course or the driving range. What I've done is borrow my friends Hogan Apex FTX and found it very easy to handle and hit. That just gave me more confidence in upgrading to a player's irons with the progressive design. Your opinions and inputs were very helpful and I am that much closer to clicking the "Buy it now." option on Ebay . Although it will take some time to get use to new clubs, I am sure I can work with it. I think I will purchase the 735's. (notice my signature under irons.."soon in my bag")
  5. Really nice Eric. I was reading your review on the Titleist 735cm and I have a quick question...since these irons have very little offset, do you think they will be a lot harder to hit than the ones with more offset? i usually have a slight fade with my TA7's and now im worried that my fades would turn into slices. i guess i'm just another average golfer scared of upgrading to a player's irons.
  6. i took the mp60 and the apex ftx at the driving range and really liked the feel of the hogans better than the mp60. the apex ftx had a softer feel to my suprise. i need to know more about the titleist 735cm from people that have used it. are there any flaws with these irons? are there any negative things about these irons?
  7. Both are beautiful looking clubs, both have the progressive design. Which one do you prefer? Please share your opinions if you have played with either, if not both of these clubs. I am looking to buy a new set of irons and have narrowed it down to these two. I want to know what you like and dislike with either of the sets, do you like the stock grips, shaft, feel, workability, forgiveness, etc. I really need your input guys. Thanks
  8. thanks guys! here's another question for you...do you think the price on the Titleist 735cm's will go down in the next couple of months. we all know that the new 2006 models are coming out? at the moment, the lowest i've seen the chrome ones go for is $650.00. i can't wait any longer..but if theres a big price difference, then i guess i'll just have to wait a little longer.
  9. just a quick question here guys...i'm about to purchase the Titleist 735cm, just want to know which one wears out first the chrome or satin?
