In my case when I close my stance I just move my right foot a little more behind me, so for me the diference are that the hands and feet are in diferent position, if i aim right and just close the club face my hands will be more ahead and my feets will be less flared

this! with my 56 y can´t carry more than 20 yrds with open face, so when i want to do 30 or 50 i just get the PW or the 9 and open the face to get some bounce -
yep sometimes i have fly the green cause that :P but most of the times its more cause im not sure of the hit (water before the green, not sure of the distance, etc) but my shots usually are more accurate this way.

this gaps are cause i short my swing more and more with the short irons and i guess that i dont have much shaft lean, i can hit my 8 iron 170 yrds if i draw it and made a full swing but my stock shot is a fade and i almost never full swing a 8 iron. every week i saw people who cant carry the drive 210 yds or hit a 4 iron and they use shorter irons than me in shorts par 3.

maybe it has something to do with the waight of the wedges :P just make it easy 3/4 of a full swing and smooth tempo.
