  1. Was 4 under today, played an incredible game all my drives were perfectly straight. Fade and drew when I wanted them to, just all in all was a perfect round.
  2. There is no pressure, do I care if my swing is not up to your standards. I can litteraly go and top my ball and care less if you think my swing is bad. My practice swings in this video, were me swinging like I do with a ball in front of me. I will upload a video of me at the golf course when I get a video camera, the only reason I uploaded this was so people could let me know what I can do from what they have seen not critisize weather or not there is a ball there. I got some tips, that my chin needs to be more up and I need a better posture. Its not a practice swing before hitting the ball this was me, with no ball around me litteraly picturing a ball in front of me to make a video. To watch my plane, to watch my backswing, my follow thru and the complete swing I have. I would not make a practice swing that is not the same as the swing I do when I am hitting the golf ball. I have a 4 handicap because when I place all my scores into my local courses computer witch is associated with the RCGA handicap index. When I play in competitions, Intersectionals my handicap is 4. I don't study the golf swing, I have been playing this game for 7 years and work on my own game by my self. Only recently have I had the interest into asking others for tips on what I should do to get better. I would love to be a scratch golfer, and that's my goal...
  3. Why should somsone have subconscious tendencies when there is no pressure, you arnt a proffesional no one is caring wether you hit a good ball or not. Well not for me, since its the same thing and there is no pressure. I would never practice something I am not going to use when hitting the ball.
  4. That's dumb why would anyone practice something they are not going to utilize when actually hitting the ball, this is just one of those made up statistics off of your opinion. Lets say that 95% of statistics posted on forums are made up.
  5. I use nike tour D golf Balls or Titleist Prov1X ... Either of the two don't seem to change my consistency much
  6. Thanks for the reply, and I hate to ask but what exactly do you mean by "its very upright". Is it me standing to close to the ball and not bending my knees enough?
  7. Yes, I am a 4 handicap who ask these questions. Because it is good to know information from others who have been in the same situation. I certainly could wait a month before I get back to the city for school, and try clubs out until I find the perfect club. Or, I can ask people who have educated opinions on this subject, and or have been through the same situation as me some sugestions. If you are to ignorant to understand, these questions are ask'd to simply gather the most information I can before a purchase then you are down right incompetent. No, I have not I live in a small town at the moment and litteraly don't have any golf stores. The golf Course I have been golfing at does not even let me try out a club, if I want to test it out before buying. As for typos I am french and english is my second language so I will probably make a lot of typos. Thank you for the detailed response, and I appreciate you taking the time to respond. You have restored my faith with the community on here for now, and hopefully most of the community on these forums are more like you. I don't understand why someone can be so angry and type such ignorant post just because he feels the necessity to do so. Once, again thanks.
  8. Well, shorty is a F'ing idiot. All I wanted was a response to my question, not someone who has life problems posting in anger on a forum thread. I appreciate the people that were helpful, but I can't get fitted for anything were I live so I won't be able to do that until I go back to University in September.
  9. Its to high, and I live in a really windy area. I want to hit the ball lower, and I really work on it. But, why would I not want to try a stiff shaft if it will give me even more yardage? Sure, I don't need it but I am looking at a new driver now. Since my driver is 5 years old.
  10. You just seem very upset, for no reason. Its dissapointing that my first impression of users on this forum is not a good one. The big awnser to this question could of clearly been awnsered in simple go hit some demo drivers figure out the shaft for your self. this is not a question that can be acessed on a forum. But, you go an make responses like that just makes me wonder how much of a shitty life you are having. So thanks for your help.
  11. The 320 yard par 4 at my course, I have been driving it all summer but this time was different. I hit it whithin 2 feet to sink in an eagle, love that hole ;p
  12. I am a waiter, while attending University for Criminology... Play golf as much as I can during the summer since we got the snowy winters here =(
  13. I don't think distance is my problem, nor do I feel my driver is giving me a worst score. Did you read what I wrote? I am mostly talking about wanting a new driver because I hit the ball on a high arc, and my shaft is flexing way to much. Was wondering what a stiff flex would do compared to a regular one. If dropping my loft, would solve the high arc problem.
  14. Hi, I still have the same driver that I had when I was 15 and was wondering if I should get a new one. My driver is a regular flex, and its a 10.5 LOFT... Now, I am currently hitting the ball 275+carry, and certainly hit it in the 300 range 5-7 times during a 18 hole. Should, I be going with a stiff flex driver or is the regular flex what is really helping me get that distance. I am also, hitting the ball on a much higher path then I use to even with a low tee up. was looking at a 8.5 degree loft thanks, Sean Savoie
  15. Shot a 76 today, front 9 had 6 birdies back nine had a ton of bogeys definetly an upset since I was thinking I was going to shoot under par for the first time.
  16. Noticed I am in the wrong section can a Mod change it for me?
  17. Hi, I still have the same driver that I had when I was 15 and was wondering if I should get a new one. My driver is a regular flex, and its a 10.5 LOFT... 18. Holy moly what an incredible read, thanks for the article and all the time you spent on it.
  19. I was in the club championship with my best friend, all we did was play a round like we were out there for fun. Made it a real relaxing day, and we both shot some incredibly low scores. I took him by 2 strokes shooting a 73 when he shot a 75. We both congratulated each other on a great round, and still work on each others games keeping us both as competitive as possible.
  20. Hi, just wanted to introduce my self to the people I will be talking a lot with via the forums. I am kind of a person who likes to lurk on forums constantly, and I am new to this one so I will be on an extra amount. My golf experience, I have been golfing since I was 13 and have worked my game from the 120's to the low 70's making my self a 4 handicap as of right now. And working really hard on getting to call my self a scratch golfer. I use king cobra Fp2's of irons... Dynamo putter, kind of no name but man does it feel just right. King cobra speed Driver and 3 wood King cobra hybrid... Was king of super into king cobra back when I was 16 haha. Thanks, savosean
  21. Thanks for the reply, and the comments about the rules. Don't know why the practice swings would be any different, someone who can annalyze a swing should not need my ball flight. Shouldn't they know from what my swing looks like. Also, I am new so I guess I have not posted yet but I will no doubt be posting more on this forum.
  22. Shot a 71 today at Restigouche Golf and country club
  23. I've been Playing Golf for: 7 years My current handicap index or average score is: 4 handicap My typical ball flight is: unconsistent as of late The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: just regain my consistency Videos:
