But he has helped me develop a sound pre shot routine with the baseball swings. I went out and won my first 3 league matches with my 3 lowest scores in my three years in the league. Doubt it's coincidence.

Try not looking at the ball. Instead look 1-2 inches in front of it. This is in Clampetts book and it works for me. Naturally delays your release without thinking about it. Give it a try.
