I've been using my phone, and the handicap's do not show on the mobile site...just thought id mention it.

So are both of you fellas saying your getting true value?considering his lessons are free on youtube! can i ask what do you both play off?..and do you both have your lead arm on top of your chest?
-
Hi again,I've still had trouble with the concept of the left arm on top of the chest,i really feel my arms aren't hanging from my shoulder's.so for that reason i feel as though i couldn't apply myself to Herman's way's...that said he is a great teacher with fantastic communication..i might look into rotaryswing again, although my game's in good shape at the moment and i really don't want any clutter in my head..all i think about these days is synchronized body and arms to create a solid flowing swing, with a well timed release...and hey presto iam back shooting mid 70's and back into single figures
-
I've changed too this grip recently and found that it works well if your arms are in sync with your body turn..i found when i got abit lazy in my swing,i would tend to hook the ball more so than a diagonal version of the grip!! i did question how well this grip would work, but the proof is in the pudding
-
This is why I've been asking the question, does it really work??..it seems far too simple!! i do agree with your left shoulder blade theory, makes sense..but surely then your swing would become controlled by your shoulder blades alone?.iam still looking for the teaching method that i can trust and relate too.Herman Williams seems the best to me on youtube, followed by meandmygolf.

Hi,thanks for the information,it sound's to me as though they string it out too keep you coming back, and make money from yourself..theirs so many instructors out there you just don't know who too trust with your game..if you know anyone out there,on the internet or youtube let me know
-
LOL,if you look on youtube on the rotaryswing channel.type in takeaway, and all will be revealed..basically it's a swing thought!let me know what you think of it
-
Hi,so are you saying that in the beginning everything worked?,like there reasons for shoulder blades back?.also what's your opinion on the two inch takeaway,I've give it a go and it works for me,but that was a few shot's at the range! i was more interested in what you thought with been a member?I've been tempted myself but haven't took the plunge as yet.
-
How can you say it won't work when you haven't seen him swing? how can you see what is wrong or right from the 2D photos provided..hence me pointing him in the direction of good instruction and training aids!!

Hi,I've got to say i disagree with some of these comments,on the right hand especially!! but what i will say,is watch what your doing when taking advice..there is no real set way to grip a golf club,i do agree with the heal pad always being on top of the grip.this will help the club hinge up,2nd don't go to much on v's you can still get it wrong, and with knuckles these are just reference points..they are alot of people teaching different thing's out there, butch Harmon strong grip..hank haney neutral..there's coaches that tell you to grip in the base of palm the other will say, heal pad to 1st joint of index finger..my point is find what works for you and your swing.. i will point you in the direction of nick Bradley,he wrote the 7 laws of golf!!,you might of heard of it? anyway he gives excellent advice of the how and why in this book..it gives you great pictures, for a visual image while out on the course..in my humble opinion your right hand isn't to far short of being a neutral grip!!,neutral is the place you want to start..there's also a training aid called the golf grip by treed..this goes on any club in the bag and is extremely beneficial for a neutral grip..it cost myself £15.00..but that's in the U.K.,could be different if your across the pond..good luck, and hope you get sorted..it's a silly game but a really do love it

Thanks alot for your time and input, iam glad i spoke to you!! i had a good feeling about Herman, and i suppose i was looking for someone to clarify what i was thinking.. thanks again for your time and knowledge.I've only just started to use the sand trap, and it's great full of friendly knowledgeable people

You talk alot of sense,so would you say Herman's methods are the ones to stick with? I've been playing 7 years now and keep getting caught up in everybody's methods of teaching, ive tried them all and find myself getting tied in knots(my head that is)..I've tried the Hogan move's with some great success, and moved onto nick Faldo's method's..and right now iam reading nick Bradley's 7 laws of the golf swing.its all very interesting, but very confusing as all the above have very different ways. i do like Herman's way i must admit,i just feel as though iam limited to material i can access,i do like books i can refer to,as well as video lessons. what's your opinion on the rotaryswing guys?? I've taken an interest in these guys the last few weeks, and i must say that there takeaway method works a charm..i do get the feeling it's more money driven though, which puts me off somewhat as i want to learn and not be treated like some idiot! i do like the idea that i can join, and they teach online, which is good when iam on this side of the pond...just a word back on ben Hogan, have you seen the guy on youtube called christo?? he has a channel called my swing evolution!!he's studied the ben Hogan swing, and wrote a book just like the five lesson's. he's a real nice guy who has some skill's,and some staying power to mimic a swing like Hogan's

Hi,ive recently been in touch with him,via youtube..i agree 100% with you!! he's a great at communication and explains things brilliantly..i struggle with getting my arm on top of my chest, its feels very restricted for my swing..all in all though,i would go to Herman like a shot for advice..i wished i lived near him,i would love to have a one on one with him..but coming all the way from the U.K. is slightly out of my price bracket!! thanks for the response, and good luck with your game!

Hi,i found his lesson on grip very good also, not many teachers on youtube teach the neutral grip.it made alot of sense when you couple it with the flat wrist lesson. i asked Herman a question via youtube and he got back to me within hours..this is exactly what iam looking for:-D..mark crossfield is ok,but he almost never responds to anyone's questions so i feel your not really interacting with him.i also feel he likes the sound of his own voice a little to much..saying that he's a nice fella with some very good advice..oh his equipment reviews are all the same. thanks for your reply :-D

Hi all,I've decided to commit to a one plane swing and would appreciate any advice on who's the best teacher online to take advice/lessons off..;-)
