You like the B52's? Oh SNAP!!!! Busted!!!

There IS nothing else to contribute. She's just some kid with ability that occasionally plays with men but cant beat them yet. End of story, I just dont think she deserves all the pub she gets, again she has done nothing, stop cramming all this hoopla down our throats. Yeah someday maybe but for now, she has no buisness playing with PGA Tour pro's taking the spot of a guy who could do things when she can't even beat LPGA pro's. I understand you defending her, she's a great talent and in time she'll be money but for now, enough is enough.

I'm all about seing the top 5 win as well but I gotta admit, Sunday at the Foot, I was all about some Colin Montgomery, He's got a story, he's got a label (best player to never win a major) though now thats gotta be Adam Scott or Luke Donald maybe, or even David Howell but Colin is a good guy and has just missed in the past so I was in his corner Sunday.

Puttin4Bird, I totally agree, DD is my pick for Royal O.B. as well. I absolutely love that guy. The only thing about David I dont like is that he pulls his head up before impact, other than that, he is my favorite player on tour by far. Tigers the best to watch obviously but Double D is someone we can all semi relate to (struggling with golf) and he's very easy to root for. Good, solid, honest, tells it like it is guy. I have allot of repect for him and hope he does great this week and further keeps his card and finish his run back to the top 10 in the world, where he belongs at least for another 10 years....

I was a big Michelle Wie fan like a year ago maybe, but now, im tired of hearing about her all the time. She has done nothing in her career so far, I know she's 16, I know she's a girl and can hit it as far as a man, big deal. Win a tourney against woman first, get to be #1 on the LPGA first. I saw her signing autographs one day and this 10 year old boy walks up to have her sign a ball, she said "Oh, I dont sign balls" and the kid walked off with his head down. She gets all these accolaids and all these lead stories on tv, internet and hasnt won anything ever of any magnatude. Im in the minority I know but and this is only my opinion, shes a stuck up, arrogant rich kid. Thats it, I know she'll win in the future and maybe knock off Sorenstam soon but for now stay on your tour until you can beat girls. Jeff Gove was dead on and I applaud his honesty.

Yeah man Rt 2 for now just a mile from the "circle" near Long Leaf, Talamore, Mid Pines, Mid South, Pine Needles and The National BUT im a member out at Seven Lakes...They offered me for being under 50 (28 yrs old) a 1 time fee of $750.00 and $70.00 a month to play any time I want so I said 70 a month? Hell yes! Its 7000 yards about and a 142 slope so its a money course and If I play once a month its paid for, though I play more like 16 times a month... Yeah Im from the DC area and Seattle before that originally and NC is the best place ever if you like golf. Next time your in town pm me...Well hit a loop -

Dude, that is a fantastic idea, as simple of a suggestion as that was I honestly never even thought of that. My old driver was a Titleist 975j in X flex, ill pull it out this weekend and do a side by side comparo...Thanks man, I appreciate it. Like Phil, Im such an idiot, I bought it from Ebay sight unseen having never hit a Sasquatch ever hoping for the best....Still hoping... -
Excellent article on Banyon Dunes
Seven Lakes replied to NCGolfer's topic in Golf Courses and Architecture
I'm from Seattle and though im in NC now, I lived there until 01. My wife and I drove down for a 3 day weekend on a whim after I saw something on the Golf Channel about BD. I've been to Pebble, been to a few Robert Trent Jones layouts, been to #2 etc. Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes are by far the nicest courses I have ever played but more importantly, the nicest courses I have ever seen t.v. or otherwise. I Played em both on consecutive days and my god, what an experience, its like nothing else most of you have ever done in golf im sure, just ridiculous nice. Old school links style but w/ Augusta like detail. If you can make the trip, its worth it and I hear they added another (wooded 18) Seriously though, every article or post whatever always says "oh it’s great here or there" and "it's worth it" Well I’m just a random dude so this is face value but in terms of being public and price and scenery and the total overall experience, BEST COURSES EVER!!!! Make a vacation this year for this place, forget anything else on the west coast. 17 mile drive would be nice but half that joint is private and the other half is WAY overpriced. -

Sorry, just added the sig... In terms of shaft though, all my clubs are X flex. Last time I was fitted I was in the 125mph club head speed area so I go X always, thing is, I was hitting 7 iron straight then 3 wood straight driver wicked slice all inside a minute, then back to 3 wood straight 3 iron straight bannanna slice driver, it was weird. Been playing golf all my life (28 yrs old) and have never seen such a thing. Perhaps the shaft isnt the right one for me afterall either brand or flex? Ill keep trying, its still new afterall... -
I was playing my home course Friday and the #1 handicap hole is a par 5 565yds that you cant hit more than 200 yards off the tee as the dogleg is severe to the right. Hit a 5 iron tee shot behind a tree and had to hit a super cut 7 iron to get out, jacked that all up and had a look at the green but I was 230 yards out to a alightly elevated pond fronted green. In my mind I thought 3 iron but wasnt sure if if I could find the sweetspot as the lie was shaky, hit it anyway and absolutely pured it dead on the stick, 3 feet, made birdie. Best shot I ever hit...Exactly the way I imagined it in my minds eye.

I had the same thing happen to me on Friday at my home course.. Even par 2 birdies 2 bogeys on the front and my buddie clued me in and I got a little nervous and tried to protect that score....shot 81. I hate that. I think for me its that I need to stop caring as much and just focus on each shot and try to forget about the bad ones, I have a hard time letting go.

SCREEEEEEEETCH!!!! Hit the breaks!! I have played 2 rounds now w/ the Tour SQ and have hit 2 fairways so far....Its long no doubt but I cannot hit it straight, its a fade or full on slice every time...The only way I can hit it straight is to play it off my left pinky toe now and close the face, way to forward IMO. I hit a consistant draw to straight ball with my other 12 clubs but the driver is right, hard right. Same swing same everything..anyone have any ideas? Club is a 9.5 Tour with NV60 X shaft, standard Length. -

Hit the new Tour SQ 9.5 this weekend at the range only..(low on fundage) and W/ range balls I was easily 20 yards past my 975J but more importantly I was hitting them all straight or w/ a slight fade. I tried to hit a few subtle hooks/draws..nope Straight as an arrow.. Driver feels great, sets up square and the Adila NV is a great shaft....So initially I love this club and would def recommend it... -
I went from a TM Firesol which was the worst club ever in the history of clubs...(well thats saying allot but I had to hit it perfect not to hook or slice it) to a Titleist 904f 15º with an X Stiff fuji and I love it....Hit it off the tee 270+ and off the deck about ten yards less, super great club but it has a bit of a draw bias. You have to be aware of that before you pull the trigger and not so much open the face but make damn sure your face is aim'd at the target. Love it

I read Iacas's review and that got me intrigued so I went to EBAY and placed a bid on a SQ Tour 9.5 X-Stiff knowing that 200 bucks will never win, well I won so im getting it on Wed like it or not.....Good deal though and if I don’t like the Adilia NV 65, with al the money I saved I can get my Mitsu or Fuji later on I suppose....How’s everyone who has a 115+MPH club head speed like the Adilia shaft?
