  1. Which one should I pick? I'm a beginner golfer looking for an easy set to play. Some one recommended me the Cobra transition-S, which is a hybrid iron set. I love the look of the club (never tried to swing it yet), but before I made any purchase, I was told that Cleveland Hibore hybrid iron set was almost half the price of the cobra. Should I go for the cleveland since the price is so much cheaper? How do the two clubs compare? Is the Cobra twice as good as the cleveland? Need some advise fast as I'm about to buy them. Many thanks.
  2. My backswing is my biggest enemy. I cannot rotate my shoulder without moving much of my hips due to my stiff body. Worse thing is that the stiffness is only on my shoulder. My hips are extremely flexible and seem to move in any direction. As a result, I slice the ball when using driver, and top the ball when using irons...all kinds of problems imagineable. Any sporting device or aid that I can buy that will restruct the movement of my hips? I don't mind even if it feels extremely uncomfortable.
  3. Any golfer out there who is born left handed but playing right hand golf? Any particular difficulty that you need to over come and how did you overcome it? Please share your view.
  4. I am a left handed playing right hand golf. I stopped playing golf 8 years ago and just started again recently. Back then, I had a bad habit of "strong grip" using my left hand on the driver and I could drive long and straight. The "strong grip" was basically gripping the club with the thumb pointing to almost 3 o'clock position instead of 12 o'clock. I believe this was due to the fact that I am a left hander, and I do not need much power from my right hand. That was 8 years ago. Now I'm starting golf again with proper golf lesson, by using the correct grip, I could not hit any ball using my driver without a slice. Should I go back to my old habit again? Please do not ask me to switch to left hand golf as it is too late for that.
  5. The range i go to only have artificial mats. You are right about muscle fatigue. I can feel my arms sore from shoulder down to my fingers.... not to mention blisters on my hands....what a stupid way to play golf you may say. :( Should I reduce it to twice a week then? Also, I just finished a course from the pro. I realized that during the lesson, with the couching from the pro, I could swing a lot better. When I go to the range alone, I keep making a fool of myself and it is so frustrating....
  6. I got bitten by golf bug lately and started going driving range everyday. The problem is, I have reach a point where the more frequent I go driving range, the worse is my swing. I usually hit 100 balls during each visit. Today, my swing is so bad that I decided to quit half way through. 95% of my balls were sliced. Does going driving range everyday actually have detrimental effect on your golf skill? Should I go there less often? What is the ideal number of time per week?

  8. I'm work for a telecommunication company. I used to play golf and have been stopped for 8 years. Just got hit by the bug again recently.
