  1. I will be sure to make a note of it! Next video I will post will be a steadyshot one!
  2. Sorry for the shakiness of the video. I'm just glad that I finally got a chance to post a video of my swing. From what I can analyze from my own swing is that I tend to get really flat on the backswing and swing under plane (as much as -23 degress difference from my downswing). I think I need to concentrate the most on that at the moment but any other thoughts like shoulder, arms, tilt, rotation etc? Also what would be the best drill to sort this out? I am thing of the back to target drill from James Parker? The other two drills I was thinking of is the club to navel drill or just use some tour sticks and really practice on not getting the club so much under plane?
  3. I've been Playing Golf for: 10 Years My current handicap index or average score is: 20 My typical ball flight is: strong fade The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: slice Videos:
  4. Yeah, like I mentioned it worked in the beginning. I really worked on my takeaway and the 2 inch take-away did help me a bit so that I remember not to pick my club up with the left arm. But as mentioned it will start with the 2-inch takeaway and then there's another thing and another and by the time you manage to get the "perfect" backswing you forget about everything else. The impact position and the follow through. According to rotaryswing the lower body is just there to stabilise you and you actually use your upper body (beginning of my problems). Each time I sent in a video for a swing review they concentrate so much on the backswing that in the end I had no weight shift since I concentrated TOO MUCH on that area of my swing. They really do have some good drills but in my opinion it is more for people that want to be tour players and know exactly what they are doing. Just my opinion!
  5. Definitely a drill I will try since I look like the guy on the left. I just want to know what is preferable for consistent shots? Hitting down with the driver (I always assumed since you're taking loft off it will have a more penetrating flight) OR Hitting up with the driver, I know people put the ball in line with their front heel or toe but can this not cause flipping or casting in the long run?
  6. Thanks mvmac, I will certainly look at it. I did notice a tendency with my last golf game that I fall back a bit when hitting the golf ball. This will be my starting point. I'm sure you will hear a lot from me in the future!
  7. I'm currently a member of Rotaryswing and seem to fully agree with the above. Too many videos with explanations what to do and what not to do. When I joined my swing became better but with every swing review I had something else was wrong. My swing now feels broken and trying to fix my swing feels like work since it's overcomplicated! I will not be renewing my subscription with them.
  8. Hi all, my name is Heinrich or "Hein" for short. I am a 19 (soon to be 20) handicap and thought of joining here to make my game better. I'm a previous over-the-top swinger (I always used to think that I hit a draw but I instead hit a pull with a closed clubface). I am now struggling to hit straight shots and am hitting fades and slices. I started playing since I was 18 and am now 28 years old. I hope to meet you all soon on the forums! I'm the king of putting but the joker of driving :-)
