  1. Any recommendations on a good comfortable pair of golf shoes I could use when walking 18 holes? Gentleman working at Golfsmith told me I should stay away from the newer high priced models. His theory was that in an effort to get your feet as close to the ground (while in shoe) as possible, golf shoe manufactures have minimized the cushioning within the shoe. Your thoughts?
  2. My swing speed avg. is 98mph. Usually, I play Pro V1x.
  3. A buddy of mine gave me a Callaway Hyper X Tour driver 9.5 about a month or so ago. The club was purchased with the Fujikura E360 shaft. My launch angle with this club/shaft is a little low for my liking. Any suggestions for a replacement shaft that will help me get the ball up a little higher?
  4. Hey folks.... I decided to purchase one of these hybrid/rescue clubs. I purchased a Taylormade Rescue 22 degree. Not sure what it is but my slight draw has turned into a hook with this club. I have heard that golf companies manufacture these types of clubs a little more upright to help the higher handicap player. I was also told that this can cause better players to hook the ball. Any of you agree with this statement? If this is true how do you guys hit this club?
  5. Erik.....question for you...if you were not using the reangefinder for tournament play would you opt for the GXII?
  6. No other suggestions folks? How many of you folks own a rangefinder? If so, what make and model...does it perform well? Would you recommend it? Is a rangefinder not on anyones x-mas list?
  7. Erik...appreciate the suggestion. Have a question though...most companies that manufacture a golf version rangefinder also manufacture a hungting version that is available for less money. Would I be doing the wrong thing to purchase a RXI or RXII vs the GXI or GXII? I guess my question now is do the golf versions offer different options vs the hunting versions? Appreciate it!
  8. If you could purchase any rangefinder which one would you purchase and why?
  9. Has anyone had any experience with these Bridgestone irons? If so how do they compare to other irons, such as the Titleist AP2, Mizuno MP 52, Callaway x forged?
  10. Yep....that one in the picture...that is her....Sophia.
  11. I was going to suggest odyssey but considering you like the feel of the Ping Answer, the odyssey may have a feeling that is too "soft" for you. Check out the Yes putters. I putted with a Yes Sophia....let me tell you...it had a nice solid feel to it. If I hadnt come across the odyssey black #9 Id still be using it. You might prefer the Yes Tracy II or Callie....give em a whirl and let me know what you think...
  12. I find the Taylor Made TP Black to be a good ball. In fact I was in your same situation...wanted little spin off the tee but a little more spin around the green than the Bridgestone E6+ provided. The TP Black offers that....at least for me. Wouldn't hurt to check it out for yourself. I buy mine from lostgolfballs.com and when you purchase from them they start to send you promotion codes for 20% off....combine that with the free shipping for $25 orders or more and you can get a dozen for approx. $20 - $25 delivered. Get the AAAAA if you want mint balls.
  13. play a ball other than a urethane covered ball(Prov 1's, HX Tour I, etc....), which ball would you play? Any of you folks have any experience with a ball that checks up on the green nicely while keeping spin off the tee at a minimum? Thank you in advance for your recommendations.
  14. I have been putting a 20 yard hook on my ball when hitting my woods and hybrid... now its not all the time but I would say 3 out of 5 shots hook. I know it could be a number of things but any ideas??? Thanks
  15. You should give the Precept Laddie X the old college try.....
  16. This info I found on the web may help you make your choice easier... High bounce (above 14°) for tall grass, deep rough, and fluffy sand Standard bounce (10°-14°) for normal to soft conditions or those who leave shallow divots. Low bounce (0-10°) for tight lies, fairway shots, and tight, compacted sand.
  17. Hope you enjoy......
  18. Got them a week ago...Mizuno MX 25's
