  1. If you want forgiveness in a driver, you cannot over look the ping G10 with what ever shaft you need. Fairway woods..Cleveland Xli are nice but i cannot pass up on Srixon M steels. Dont over look the Alpha range either..gr8 clubs. I have D/3W/5W/7W/9W. Just my 5c worth
  2. Well 7 lodges thats excellent. Guess you have to go for the one that meets on the a night that suits you.
  3. Why, is he going into the chair of KS ?? LOL
  4. Masonry is nothing like the sceptics say it is, devil worship ect. A load of crap. We are not a secret society, but a society of good men with some secrets. The non mason may read the plethera of info on the net, but the only thing they would not read is our secrets. I cant be half bad when US presidents are/were masons. Kramer is one, John Wayne,Charlie Chaplin, Robbie Burns. Ernest Borgnine (McHale) is one. Red Skelton was one. The list go's on. Just contact ur local lodge if you are interested and u never know you may get to ride a hairy goat !!! LOL
  5. Yep one here And proud of it. Bro Blair Cullen MM/MMM/Comp The Mornington Lodge 160 AF&AM;
  6. I cant answer that. I cant hit these things for the life of me !!. I now use a 9 wood.
  7. I would consider the Ping G10's. Sweet clubs !!!
  8. I would recomend the S91 in senior. I have just bought this one. My swing speed is roughly the same. Mine has the GD 45 gram shaft 11.5 deg. tried probably 4 diff heads and shafts and this combo gave me the best distance/ball flight. I would normally use a high lofted driver such as my Alpha which is 15 deg, but this cobra is a ripper. Worth considering i think.
  9. I bought a Burton ML Hybrid bag just recently. The legs fold in and lock so you can use on a buggy/cart. 9in with 14 full length dividers and plenty of pockets cauz i reckon the bigger the bag the more crap we tend to carry. It will do me even if i just use it during the warmer months and keep my bigger one to carry wet weather gear ,bag cover and spare towells ect. Worth considering if you could get the same or similar over in your neck of the woods.
  10. I can't comment on the Xl but when i was down at my local driving range for a bucket i had a hit of the new Xls fairways and was very impressed. I bought the 3,5,7 and 25 deg hybrid. Was not in the market for any new ones but they had just started to stock the brand and had demo's to hit. Iam just a mug but i found them very easy to hit and forgiving.
  11. I have just started to use a Alpha response driver at 15 deg. I have had the mindset of not using a driver at all cauz i cannot hit them. This one seems to work for me and gives me confidence off the tee. Never new that you could get these in such a high loft. It is not the most pretiest driver, very plain looking and the shaft has no fancy artwork as such. Little bit of offset to help get it in the air and square to club face. Anyone that has struggled like me with a driver in the past should consider a thriver. Good golfing to you all !!!
