  5. I personally think that as long as your partner and yourself get along and you have things to talk about, that's fine for me. however if you are playing against your playing partner eg. match play i much prefer to play against someone who is off a lower handicap as it brings out you best game. when you are playing with someone i do have this tip, in between shots think and talk about anything but golf, this stops you from getting to worked up about your round, at the end of the day most of us play golf for fun and unless you are in an open qualifier theres no need to get so wound up!
  6. I personaly wouldnt put it on my wedges but sometimes when im putting and leaving putts short i put two strips on my putter it helps you get the ball to the hole. you would need a lot of tape to make any significant differace on your wedges but the putter thing works.
  7. Have you tried taking a rediculously outside to in practise swing and making sure that you dont release the club? kind of like miguel angel jimenez (or however you spell it) does. just a thought
  8. thats not a bad idea thanks a lot
  9. i would have to say Cleveland CG12's or Titleist vokey spin milled. but unless your making good contact you will get the same amount of spin if you use a cheese greater to be honest. its all about personal preference go to your local pro ask if you can try a few and pick your favorite. but i would recommend getting the same brand for your wedges as they are all different. also get the right 'bounce' on the wedges... if your a 'digger' ie. you take a big divot get a club with a high bounce. if your a slider ie. you have a small narrow divot get a club with a low bounce. hope this helps
  10. i have to agree with your pro, i play with cg12 with zip grooves spin the ball an almost unholy amount
