Yea real good idea. We have our first practice tomorrow, just going to the range. But then 9 everyday for the next couple months, so pumped. I played volleyball 9th and 10th grade but I decided to play golf this year. Like Dent, my team is a joke and does not hold tryouts,everyone makes it.. But I will most likely make the playing team.

I can't stand it. When it's just me and my friends playing, we just mess around and have a good time. But when I used to play with my dad, he was horrible. He would be completely impossible to talk to pretty difficult to watch play. Since I've talked to him, it is much more enjoyable for the two of us to play a 9 on the weekend. Although it helped for me, the result would probably be much different if I had said something to someone I had just been paired up with.

I'm 16, from Buffalo, and have been playing golf for 7 years now. I've always loved it, but have gotten especially hooked this summer. This site looks like a really good place to come on and talk golf, which is what I like to do. P.S. If you're a high school golfer, and are not on the golf team, join. It's the biggest deal out there, get to play the areas nicest country clubs, everyday, for free.

When you swing, you hips are supposed to follow your club. In this picture, your club is still pretty far behind you but yet your hips are already starting to open. This causes you to come around on the ball and you might even end up hitting behind it.

How's it goin? I'm just about 20 minutes south of the city, where you at? I play a couple courses around me pretty regularly, most of them even more south though. Where you play?
