It looks a lot like mine. Is it new? If not that would explain the lack of a "pivot" tool. Does it have a headcover?

I will never forget my first eagle, neither will my playing partners. It was a handicapped four-man best ball tournament. It was a short par 4 (275), drove the green and made the 2.5 footer. Got a net zero on the hole for our group. Another guy birdied it for a net one. We did finish first.

I cave the face of my driver in every couple of years.

I like to hit a handfull of 8 irons and six irons to loosen up, then I will pick a course that I play regularly and "play" it in my mind from tee to green.

If you're hitting driver around 270, you probably have a swing speed in the mid to high nineteys. You should really consider a stiff steel shaft for your irons, especially if the regular flex graphites feel "loose" to you. I use Precision Rifle 6.0's but they are no longer in production, I think their latest product is called Project X. I love Precision's stuff because every iron feels the same.

I usually have anywhere from 12-20 in my bag.

I live in Madison WI and have been playing golf (seriously) for eight years. I try to play at least three times a week during the season. My biggest problem is inconsistency, I can never seem to get all of the aspects of my game to work at the same time. I normally play at Reedsburg CC, Baraboo CC, Lake Wisconsin CC and Nine Springs Golf course. Looking forward to sharing and learning.

Have you tried shortening up your left thumb?

I'm 36, been playing for about eight years.

I have had the pro-launch red shaft in my last two drivers, a 983k and now it is in my 907 D2. I am pretty tall and have a steep swing path, so my ball flight is still pretty high. But I do love the feel of this shaft.
