  1. Had to put these in. I know this is not in my home state but it was probably the only time I would be able to golf there. The Kapalua the Plantation Course. I was lucky and the wind was not to bad.
  2. This is the only Arnold Palmer Designed Course in Oregon (Klamath Falls) The Runnin Y Ranch. I grew up there but it was not built until after I moved away. I wish it would have been there I probably would have started golfing when i was in my teens. It is beautiful. The 4th hole. Klamath Lake is behind this hole. The par 3 6th (signature hole) 148 yds. Below the par 4 9th. You can only see the green from the tee. The 17th par 5 you can go straight or to the right ( the right you have to go for it in 2) or maybe not. The par 4 18th finishing hole. If it into the wind it is a long hole, and dont go left
  3. A Few pictures from my Bandon Dunes ( This is actually Pacific Dunes ) My Brother, Freind, Me This short par 3 was into the wind (used a 5 iron and still didnt get there.
  4. I have always have had a quick transition from my backswing to downswing. This year I am really trying to concentrate on a smoother transition as well as my temp in both my takeaway and my downswing. So for me it is just thinking about that, a smooth transition and tempo.

  6. How many posts do you need to upload photographs?
  7. I started playing WGT back in 09 I believe and was hooked from the start. It has come along way since then. I stopped playing for a few years and just got back into it. They have increased the amount of courses so it is interesting again. And it is free to start but to do any good you need to by "virtual" clubs and equipment. That doesnt bother me to much but having to buy "virtual" balls just kills me. The good ones only last about 3 to 4 rounds and that is if you dont lose any. So you can sink a little money into it if you are not careful. Hell if you play 18 with four people it can actually take you four hours to play so be prepared.
  8. LOL, I was on the course today and around the 7th hole I was thinking the very same thing. I have a 51 / 56 degree set up and i rarely use the 60 degree. Like you I only use it in heavy rough around the green and down hill lies in the sand trap. On the other hand if I got rid of it and needed it I would be a little upset. The old saying would rather have it and not need it comes into play here.
  9. Shot a 44 / 42=86. It was clear and 36 at 8 AM and walking onto the first green there was ice buildup on my shoes. Ok that's a new one. By the 10th hole i was able to shed the jacket and it was just a good day to golf.
  10. I shot an 87. Some nice drives but my iron play saved me. I just bought some nike vrs forged irons and I have to say they are really easy to hit. My drives were ok and my putting was pretty good today as well, had about 3.. 3 puts but the rest were one ore two putts. Overall it was a good round with nice weather just after the pineapple express just roared through. I was surprised that the course was in really good shape.
  11. Taylor Made R1 Driver Taylor Made 09 Burner 3 Wood Nike VRS forged 4-AW (just bought them and have not had a chance to use them) replacing Taylor Made Burner Plus Irons. Need to buy a 56 deg. wedge (probably Titleist vokey) Titleist 60 deg. vokey wedge (oil can) Nike T100 putter (old but I can't seem to part with it)
  12. I just joined TST a few days ago and love the site. I was a residential framer for approximately 16 yrs. Residential Superintendent for 5 yrs for one of the largest builders in the state's until the crash of 08 and out the door i went. Back to school and earned an Associates in Criminal Justice now a Corrections Officer.
  13. I got back from Maui a few weeks ago (the last time i played and the first time to the Islands). I played the Plantation course and shot a 93 form the blues. I left a few to many shots out there that day because of the scenery and just the overall " Holy CRAP I am actually playing on a PGA course!. I birdied the 12th and that was my highlight of the day. A few days later i played the Royal Kaanapali and shot a 95. Really nice course but the wind was pretty bad that day but very nice none the less.
