  1. Previous job was active duty military for 13 years, 6 tours overseas, 1 year in Korea, and got das boot from our current Commander and Chief with his glorious budget cuts. So now im a "Technical Support Engineer" which is fancy term for a help desk call center. Basically all I do right now is sit in a cubical, and answer a telephone, write up problems military bases are having with fuels accounting software and send that ticket to the appropriate field for troubleshooting. I fix small issues like account lock outs or billing information for Aircraft. But for the most part, I just answer phone calls and take down information.
  2. I would love to try some new balls, currently play the E6, but the way my game is coming around I been debating on upgrading to a more responsive ball. Playing in and around the Atlanta area, 3-4 times per week. I'm thinking about swapping the ball because I have fixed a lot of the problems with my game, after the knee injury I picked up a wicked slice and it was a hard one to correct. Now I'm driving straight and averaging around the 290+ mark with a slight left to right draw. My swing speeds are pretty stout, I'm a big guys at 6'5" tall and 255lbs, and I'm not overweight. My average swing speed is 118, but if I twist on it I have been as high as 127.
  3. Hello all, just joining up mainly to look around and read. Might chime in every now and then. Finally getting back into my golf game seriously. Been several years takings it very slow. Played a lot from High School up through my military career, then in 2010 I was in Korea and fell on some ice completely dislocating my knee and patella, tore my MCL, bruised my ACL and done some significant cartilage damage. Now I'm no long in the military thanks to the genius who cut our budget like crazy and robbed me of retirement. But now I'm living in Atlanta and working as a Software Engineer, hopefully lots more free evening and weekend time to get some round in and get to playing again.
