  1. Over the years, I have collected over 1700 golf balls. Most are in playable condition, with only a small scuff or Sharpie mark. Some are even in perfect condition, looking like they have just come out of the box. I also have them sorted by brand and type. I have balls from every brand, but mainly Titleist, Top-Flite, Callaway, Nike, Wilson, and Pinnacle. I am wondering how I should go about selling most of these for a profit (I haven't spent any money on getting them). I do want to keep about 100 though for my own play. Should I use one of the many used golf ball sites? Would Ebay be a good option? Or should I just sell them to my local country club or driving range?
  2. When it is raining and no one is out on the golf course, I often ride my bike over, lock it to a tree, and walk onto the course to search for golf balls in the woods and such. Then I take them home, count them, clean them, and sort them by brand. I sell the majority of them, but keep some for playing, as I am a beginner and lose quite a few. I only go out if there is no one else there. I currently have over 1700 used golf balls from doing this. Anyway, does anyone else do something like this?
  3. I am just starting golf, and will begin next year. I have taken some lessons over the summer, so I do have a little bit of experience. Anyway, I was looking at a starter set that has everything I need. Do you have any recommendations for a complete set from a reputable brand that is under $300.00? I am looking for something that that has a driver, 3 and 5 woods, a full set of irons (with, perhaps, hybrids), a pitching wedge, and a sand wedge. It needs to be available for lefties too. I have my eye on the Top-Flite XL 5000 Men's Set. Thanks!
  4. A pigeon can still make a deposit on a new car. Anyway, I am keeping all of my money in an online savings account. I figure I will invest it in a mutual fund in a few years when the markets steady out.
  5. The last I saw was $3.48 at a Mobil station in the center of town.
  6. I just put my clubs right back in the bag when I am done with them.
