I am a beginner, haven't even played yet, and I'm looking at two sets to purchase. Any suggestion as to which one is better? Jack Nicklaus Signature Series Set (Costco) $250 Tommy Armour Royal Scot Set $270 Both are about the same price. Is one better than the other or are they pretty much the same? Again I'm a rookie over 50. Are there advantages of one over the other for a rookie? Thanks Webby

Oh my, a whole new language for this rookie. Where do I find a dictionary of golf terms? Just starting to play, (don't even have my own clubs yet). Where is a good place to start learning the language? Webby

So far the toughest part for me is choosing a set of clubs! Way too many choices and I haven't a clue. Just decided to play the game after 30 years. Back then a wood was a wood, now there are so many clubs and I don't want to buy something that will discourage me from attempting to play. Webby As a response to the previous post.
