Heartwell Golf Course in Long Beach http://heartwell.americangolf.com/ I live right around the corner. It's a great par-3 18-hole course and is pretty cheap to play $17 for 18 holes on the weekend.

Luckilly I don't have to worry too much about weather here in Southern California. It's the end of October and was probably 95 degrees yesterday. I really wish it would cool down though.
