  1. You're kidding right? The Burner is one of the lightest and longest clubs. 50 grams is light for a shaft. It's all in your head. The only thing is it might be to stiff.
  2. They're not milled- they're cast, thats why their cheaper. Don't know bout the head cover.
  3. Golf Galaxy is marking down theyre used prices hugely. Since they merged with Dick's (who uses 3balls for used clubs) they have to keep consistent prices in the computer. Never used 3balls but check at the GG and ask if the sticker price has already been changed.
  4. That's the driver and woods. If irons are coming out usually there's leaked photos or rumors-especially with Taylormade. The new Tour Preferreds (TPs) are the R7 TP replacement.
  5. They're all premium, so it depends on your swing. Go test each or get fitted.
  6. Intro on website says 3/20/09. http://taylormadegolf.com/R9/
  7. I think its ridiculous, but used prices are real cheap so if I ever need a cheap driver...it's great!
  8. and the r7 limited tp... http://www.gppgolf.com/gppg/content/...productId=4755
  9. He's not a srixon rep, only his irons and wedges are srixon. Plus, he said that it spins LESS off of the driver, so those measurements if taken off a drive would only prove him right. And if you're looking at the Golf Digest test, those numbers aren't accurate. They say a Pro V1x spins more than a Pro V1, which is false. Please don't write with no punctuation and the word "like" so much, it just is confusing.

  11. I don't think Mizunos are milled to max depth, and the cg14 and 12 I'm pretty sure are cast. Like TitleistMan said vokey's are cast. Not sure about the taylormades.
  12. Callaway X-Forged wedges I've heard are great. Plenty of spin with the MD grooves, almost excessive.
  13. I actually got to hit the r7 limited at Golf Galaxy about a month ago, albeit in the complete wrong set up. It had a stiff flex and 9.5 degrees of loft. I need regular flex and 10.5 degrees of loft (what happens when your a lefty ). Also, I had to hit it with a good three layers of tape after the worker yelled at me for scuffing another club that I hadn't hit, so he insisted on taping it for me (I tape them anyway, but not excessively). I didn't get a real feel for it so take this FWIW. I got one out there at 220 carry, just as far as my current driver. When I replace clubs, I'll give it a look if I can hit on a real range, untaped.
  14. I'd have to say playing guitar, lacrosse, and running. That's about it
  15. Just to second what everyone already said, those things are great! When my Dad got his big toe joint replaced, he used one of those and it really helped him regain his balance. My mom's a PT and she also loves it. Great for core and balance work and very versatile. Flip it over and hold the handles so the the ball on the ground and do pushups with your hands on the handles (excellent workout).
