  1. You raise a lot of good points. I suppose any novelty tournament would only work if the players wanted to make it successful, as they have minimal reason to want to play in such a tournament.
  2. I agree with this sentiment. I think this could give a more interesting take for people who aren't avid golf fans.
  3. I have been using an orange golf ball. The Nitro Blaster is the brand name. They were relatively cheap, which is why I decided to see how well they worked in terms of visibility. I haven't lost many of these, and the few I have lost were very errant shots. I have also tried yellow golf balls, which I find more visible than the normal white golf ball. I think overall the orange balls are the most visible, if anyone has recommendations for balls they've tried in orange, that would be great.
  4. @ billchao Thank-you very much for the recommendations, hopefully I can make it out to one of them this weekend. I also think an outing would be a great way for people to meet each other and get to know a few other golfers in the area to call if you have a cancellation in your foursome.
  5. I am curious to know if any of you know of a non-private grass driving range. I am trying to find one and I've had no luck.
  6. This is very unfortunate. I enjoyed seeing amateur golfers given a regular opportunity to be seen. It gave me ideas for shots to practice as well.
  7. Thanks all!
  8. Hello all, I am from northern NJ. 28 years of age. I typically play Ash Brook golf course or Galloping Hills. Right now I am shooting around 100. I'm always looking to play whenever I can. I look forward to picking up tips and pointers to be consistently under 100. Thanks, Brendan
