2. I don't belive so from what I have read,I am an Android user. You can check the app settings to see if you can use the tags. I did read that Apple will allow non Apple apps to use the NFC function on the iPhone 6, when I have no idea.
3. They have them on the Game Golf site for $49.00 plus tax and shipping. http://store.digitalriver.com/store/activemt/en_US/pd/ThemeID.38733800/productID.307863900
4.
My battery holds up pretty darn well too with a G3. It uses less than 50% for a full round. Of course that would probably change if the gps was constantly updating instead of only when I pull the phone out to tag.
I have a 10,000 mAh external battery charger, that I could use while on course if I see it is killing my battery too fast. But, the thing is bigger than my phone. If it is not too bad I might wait until this winter to get the unit(hopefully onsale
5. Here is a screen shot on an Android device showing tag setting.(For some reason I couldn't edit my last post to add this.)
6. The Android version allows you to use the tags as long as your phone has NFC. If you have an iPhone Apple blocks access to NFC for apps by second party devs. I have read they will allow NFC by second party devs on the iPhone 6 in the future. If you have an Android phone or tablet go to the settings where you will see where you can turn on the use of the tags. I have read in other forums where users have been using the tags on with the app without problems. So on Andoid phonesnwith NFC you can use thebtagsbwith the app. But, the GPS will be on constantly, which is whybI will buy the belt unit in the future.
7. I don't have the GameGolf device but, I am intrested in the info it gives. So I am going to get the tags and give it a try with the app. I have used golf gps phone apps in the past but it is a PITA messing with the phone constantly, which is why I will get the tags. If I like the info that I get I will invest in the regular belt device. I have a second set of clubs I use sometimes just to use something different so the extra tags would go on those clubs.
8. I have a G25 3 hybrid that I love, but I love my Mizuno MP-53 4 iron more:-D
9. It can be done with proper technique and physical conditioning. Get some lessons to help clean up your swing and hit the weights and stretch. And practice, practice and practice some more.
10. Just wanted introduce myself I am from NE Ohio and took the game back up three years ago. I was playing to a cap of 14 last year but haven't been able to get out much this season so far so I am not playing that well as of now:~( But, in June I will be able to hit the couses and range much more:-D
11. I have the Leupold GX-4i2 and love it. If you don't want slope and everything else the basic models would be perfect. Plus Leupold has the best customer service which is the reason I went with them over Bushnell.
12. I have never hit a person before, but I have hit a goose and a car before. In the early 90's my grandfather was at an LPGA event in Florida and got hit in the head by one of the lady pros. He spun around and dropped, he was in the hospital for two days. I wish I knew what event and the date it happened, as I have been wondering if there is any footage of it somewhere. But, both of my grandparents are both gone now.
