I have a new ghost putter, and while putting on the carpet last night I noticed the shaft seems weird. I know it is offset, which it is at the actual base (by the putter) but then by the time of the grip it is in align with the front of the putter. Is my shaft bent?? Seems like if offest at the base, then it should be offset up through the grip??? No pictures yet, seen it too late last night to think about pictures and I am at work right now. Can somebody else look at their ghost and see?

My new asics golf shoes are great. Way better then my adidas ones from years past.

Cherry Hill is a very nice course. Foster Park is pretty nice for a public park course, it is tough though. I am a fan of Noble Hawk north of fort wayne also. Front nine is links style.

Towards the end of this season, I started getting major pains in my thumb that was compounded fractured when I was much much younger. I currently play Mizuno MX-25's which I really do like. But the pain in the thumb is almost too much on a full round. Which do you think would benefit me more, just getting sensicore installed in the stock dynalite shafts, or doing a total switch to graphite? I see golfsmith has attack lite iron shafts .355 which I could afford to through in them.

Was it a Donald Ross designed course. I have played two and seemed like every other green is like this. Refuse to play those courses anymore ;)

Well I cannot hit my driver 230 from the deck ;) I drive about 230, but then next club I hit fairly good everytime would by the 2 hybrid which goes about 200 yards.

I carry a 16 degree to replace 3 and 5 woods and then a 22 degree to replace 3 iron. I get much better results from 16*, may not be as long as a three wood, but when you can only hit a three wood off the deck good once out of every four tries, distance doesn't matter when comparing.

Whichever ones I am not hitting. As soon as I am taking a swing, they turn into the ugliest irons ever because of how I swing ;)

I might try to test the new cleveland driver this weekend, over spring break going to canada (yeah, weird destination for a spring break) but want to try wilson's shockwave while there. Thanks for all your input. I hate the thought of those long 46" drivers, anybody have any idea if cutting those down to 44" will affect them, I assume it would make them even a touch lighter.

I am 38 years old, 5'8" and weigh about 170 with my winter poundage on. I only started golfing three years ago, and normally shoot around 100, sometimes two or three above or two or three over. I have taken golf classes and private lesson. Lack of distance is what kills me because do not have full rotation (hockey player in me doesn't seem to want to high stick the club???). Pretty straight except for once in awhile i slice one. My drives average around 220. So thought maybe lighter driver would let me rotate or take it back little farther also.

Thinking about getting a new driver (Wilson Staff Shockwave). I admit I have low swing speed, only lower 80's, but I am pretty happy with results in terms of being in fairway and going straight. If I wanted to try to increase swing speed even a little, what would help more, I heavier driver or a light driver? May sound silly but not 100% sure which would help the most, even if only a little.

Well if I do not sweep slight as flat as driver, I have been able to make it fly off the mat at the local driving range. But yesterday on the course and real grass, that was another story. Topping or digging too much, never once hit and good clean shot with it. Maybe mental since actually counted.

Are you supposed to swing these like a hybrid or not? I got one free with the driver and really want to learn how to hit it good. Should my swingplane be more like my driver or more like my irons? I think I am trying to sweep too much instead of hitting down on it? Anbody with experience with one? Just confusing since it says ease of hybrid but distance of a fairway. Really need to be able to fill that gap between driver and three iron.

Maybe a four wood instead? 16.5 mizuno f-60 for about $100 bucks new.

I agree with start with Par 3 courses if you can find one. That is were I took my girlfriend the first time to see if she would like it. She does, so in two weeks she gets her birthday present of golf clubs. Then I am lucky enough to have three different par three course in our city.

I know the MX-560 is also priced to sale but that is because the MX-700 came out. So maybe?????

No luck, njgolfman.com did not have one except in graphite, and pain in butt to get it reshafted around here. Thanks for trying to help. Let me know if anybody else comes up with an idea.

Cool I will call the njgolfman.com after school today and check with them. I tried clubfinders and clubscouters but neither had any, and I admit I would like near or very good shape. I might find out I can't hit it like the four iron, but want to try. Still will keep the 14 and 18.5 hybrids either way. Then I can change my signature all at once. Thanks for the heads up guys, and let me know if anybody else can think of someplace.

Does anybody know anyplace that sells individual irons. Just scored brand new set of Mizuno MX-25, but it is 4 - GW. I really want a three iron to finish out the set. I kill the four and want to see if I can hit the three as well.

I am not sure, they are at my dad's right now. I am not sure if he can figure that out for me or if I will have to ride down one day and look over the weekend. Is one shaft better then other?? I only looked to see the flex which was regular, which is only reason I can think about even keeping them because if was stiff I know I wouldn't be able to play them.

Yes, that is them, we found a completely unused set in my Uncles attic, still wrapped and everything. It has a postmark of 1993 on the box. They look beautiful, but not sure if I could play them, I currently use Ci6's. My dad says I can keep them if I will actually use them.
