  1. Thanks all for the input. I figured that I would probably be better off with the wide shoes, since that's most of what I wear anyway. Since I don't have any local shops around here to try the shoes out at, I just took my best guess, and I went ahead and purchased them. Now I just have to sit back, wait, try not to be too impatient, and look forward to trying them out!
  2. When it comes to golf shoes, do you normally go for the standard-fit or the wide-fit? And does the fit that you get for your golf shoes match that of your regular / dress shoes? I've been looking at a seller on eBay who sells a ton of shoes, and who has a huge amount of feedback. I'm guessing they're a wholeseller or similar, because it's usually the same type of shoe that they list over and over. I'm looking at buying a pair of Adidas University II's from the seller. However, they come in both regular and wide for that style and size, and I'm not sure what to get. I wear a wide when it comes to dress and tennis shoe, so I assume it'll probably be the same with the golf shoes as well. However, I don't have any local retailers to be able to go to, to try that brand on. So, I figured I would ask you guys as to what your thoughts were, and what you think I should do. I've never worn a pair of golf shoes before, so I have no idea how they fit. Thanks!
  3. I would be willing to help out with the 2.0 Beta if you're still looking for people. I know I'm still a quite new user, but I'm a Computer/Software Engineer myself, and I would enjoy the chance to test it out and provide appropriate feedback where needed.
  4. Lol, don't base your opinion off mine! My caliber of golf is pretty poor. That's why I play with the Top Flights that I do, since they're the cheapest at the store, lol. So, obviously, I don't know a whole lot about what's good, and what's bad, when it comes to golf balls. Hopefully someone who's a lot better at golf gets their hands on some of these, and can make a much more professional opinion
  5. Are they refurbished of multiple brands, or are they usually specific brands that are refurbished and used? Because the ones that I bought didn't seem like they were very good quality at all!
  6. Just like a number of others on here, I'm too young to know much about Jack. I grew up more so with Tiger, so I am going to have to go with him.
  7. I went to Wal*Mart last night to replenish my stock of lost golfballs :( and I came across these as well! I usually use Top Flight XL5000 Super Soft, and I saw these on an endcap for $5.00. I picked up a box of them, along with my box of Top Flights, since they were so cheap. I figured that if they were horrible balls, I would use them as backups for shots over water, trees, etc. I'd rather lose a 33-cent ball, than a $1.00-or-more ball! I opened up a box of them to compare them with my Top Flights. Now, mind you I'm not very good at golf by any means, so they probably won't make any difference in my game. However, I was surprised to see how rough-feeling those were, especially compared to the Super Soft Top Flights. I was putting both kinds around my living room, and I really didn't like the feel if the Nitros. The felt a lot to me like the range balls that I normally hit! I don't get to go out golfing much, so I'm sure you'll get a chance to test out the Nitros before I will. I look forward to hearing your report! :)
