Does anyone out there know of a good pro shop where I can hit Titleist and Ping irons OUTSIDE? I am trying to make a decision bw the AP line and the S58 irons so before I shell out the cash, I want to hit them outside on the range and see which feels better. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

you are in almost the exact same boat i am with an iron choice right now. after all of the feedback i have received from this board, i think i am going to golf galaxy to hit a bunch of clubs one of these nights. nickent is one of the ones i am going to look at. i havent thought much about replacing my 3i and 4i w hybrids yet... i am really confused so i just need to hit a bunch of clubs and see where it takes me. good luck and keep me posted.

I totally agree w that. I really dont like it when I look down and see that fat topline. Similar to the reason I use a 425cc driver vs a 460cc driver. thanks for the input from everyone. has anyone hit the new VRs from Nike?

I am looking for a solid iron that allows me room to improve but also some forgiveness. I am about a 17 hc now but hit my irons pretty solid (I tend to get into trouble off the tee). I want a thin top line, that is very important to me. Looking at Ping I10, Cleveland CG7 (Tour?), Titleist AP2 but am very intrigued by the Nike VR Forged Split Cavity. Maybe the Bridgestone GC Mids? Help!!! Thanks in advance.

i wish i could hit blades but i just cant seem to do it consistently. i am really looking for something now that looks like a blade but has some forgiveness. i am going to start a thread on it so please give me some input!!! thx
