  1. lol you are a mind reader!!! We play exact handicap but we aren't playing off the 8 handicap which might make a difference. Thanks! We haven't been playing off the 8 handicap, everyone takes their full handicap. Is it harder for the 8 handicap this way? Thanks!
  2. I play in a 4 person game that includes skins every week. We have a 8 handicap, 13, 16 and 19. Should natural birdies beat a par with a stroke? Thanks
  3. thanks
  4. couples tournament coming up. Two couples per team. Scoring will be you'll take 1 low net on par 5, two low net on par 4 and 3 low nets on par 3's from the 4 players. Question is, does this format favor higher handicappers who are getting to use 4 par 3 holes and take 3 scores. Most low handicappers are not getting strokes on these holes. Your thoughts?
  5. Does a 1-2-3 on a 5-4-3- (count 1 on par 5, 2 on par 4 etc) favor the higher handicaps in a 2 best net tournaments with 4 players?
  6. Thanks for your input. It's going to be a interesting season! BUT, really great problems to have in life, isn't it?
  7. Thank you for your thoughts. I am also a single digit amateur and understand your sister's situation. That said, I like others are struggling with the fact a professional with major titles under her belt isn't playing from scratch. The Legend's tour for senior ladies plays at 6100 yds approx and one of our club events she played at 4800 yds. with handicap. The other sports I've played are tennis/equestrian which always made the "professionals" play in the open division. Amateurs could play up to the division but the pros couldn't move down. (they could request amateur status if not being paid/wanted that status) So with that experience I'm reaching out for more knowledge on what the majority of pro senior women do when playing for "fun". On one hand, she's a member but on the other it's causing problems among the ladies "normal" net tournaments. (not club championship) I always believe there's a solution for every problem so just looking for ideas. Thanks again!
  8. Yes. We have a lpga player (great record) playing in club net tournaments. She still has a pro status not amateur but she is a member and is playing ladies tees Thrilled to have her just trying to figure out what is the right way to address tournaments
  9. Should the pro play longer than the amateurs? Private club
  10. What distances should LPGA senior ladies play in club events with other amateur players?
