Hi all. I have a pitching wedge that is 46 degree loft and standard length based on my height. I have a Gap Wedge that is 50 degree loft and is and inch and a half longer than my standard length based on my height. Considering the Gap wedge is longer than what is recommended for me do you think that it will go the same distance as my pitching wedge? I haven't had a chance to get to the range lately but a friend of mine made the comment that since the club is longer the Pw and the Gap wedge should go about the same distance. If that's true I'm trying to decide which to keep in the bag. What are your opinions and or suggestions?

I'm not much of a brand follower...well yes I am. However my bag is filled with custom clubs that are similar to PING. Haven't hit a better club than these although I'm looking forward to upgrading to the Taylormade burners 09 soon. I too am a fan of all NIKE products.

I think that if you place them both on a course at the peak of their careers and gave them the same equipment and circumstances Tiger would prevail.
