Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, as I've been away from golf for a couple of years. But now that I'm back, I'm looking to upgrade my bag...at least my irons. I've been reading other threads on this forum, and everyone seems to be pretty knowledgable on this excessive amount of new equipment.
I'm still playing a set of Titleist DCI 962s PW - 2 iron and I want something that gives me great feel yet still reserving a tad bit of forgiveness (not too much though). I hit the ball high and pretty solid with good distance (5 iron=195 yds), and I'm looking for a player's club that feels good and that I can work to update my set.
I've been hitting the Titleist 695 MB and CB, Mizuno MP 32 and Macgregor V-Foil M675. I'm also looking at the Titleist 735CM. Does anybody have any suggestions for me? My preliminary findings are that the Titliest 695MB is a little too unforgiving for me (as it feels horrible on a mishit) but all of the others feel great. However I haven't had the opportunity to hit any on the range, only at my local golfshop.
Thanks to anyone that can give me some feedback on their experiences with these irons (especially the Macregor's and Titleist 735CM), or any others worthy of mention.
