  6. Oosthuizen is something to watch when he's playing well, and has the best swing in the game IMO. He doesnt plan in enough American events though. Nothing compares to watching a tournament when Tiger is in the hunt and playing well. Even if you hate him, you cant deny it.
  7. SOLD to some poor soul on Craig's List
  8. Would you take $75 for them? I can get them for $78 on Amazon with free shipping, but I'll take them off your hands if we can make a deal. http://www.amazon.com/Oakley-Mens-Scalpel-Rectangle-Sunglasses/dp/B0036B87YQ/ref=pd_sbs_sg_1/190-7497903-6160841
  9. Here's some more detailed, close up photos. As you can see, the grooves are in fantastic shape. Being forged clubs they are soft so there is a bit of bag chatter evident, but the only real cosmetic defect is the 2 small scratches on the sole of the 4 iron which does not affect playability. Photos are arranged as follows: P98, 76, 54
  10. Sure. I'm at work but will take a few more close ups tonight when I get home.
  11. I am selling a beautiful Cleveland CG15 48 degree wedge, 8 bounce. I've had this wedge for about a season, and it has minimal use. I picked it up to use as a gap wedge with my set of Cobra S2 Forged Irons. It has the zip grooves that make the ball bite very well. The wedge is in great shape, and the grooves are perfect. I am selling the wedge for $75. I used this wedge as the gap wedge for my set of Cobra S2 Forged Irons which I am also selling for $375 (see my other post for pics). If you would like to buy the irons and the wedge I will give a price break and sell them all for $425. respond here or email me at bbedell@gmail.com if interested
  12. I am selling my beautiful set of Cobra S2 forged irons. This set includes 4-PW and is in very good shape with the equivalent of 1 season of use or less. The clubs have True Temper steel shafts, stiff flex, standard lie and lofts. The 4 iron has a small scratch in the sole, and the rest of the clubs have minor signs of wear from play and being in the bag. None of the wear affects the playability of the clubs, and the grooves are in excellent shape. These clubs originally sold for $900, I am selling them for $375. I am in California and can ship them anywhere in the continental US. respond here or email me at bbedell@gmail.com if interested
  13. 43 degree PW, 48 degree gapper, 53 degree sandy, 58 degree lob wedge PW is part of my S2 forged set, 48 and 58 are CG15s, 53 is a Mizuno T-series from 2008 - great club
  14. If you enjoy rattlesnakes, it's about as spectacular as they come!
  15. Got it from the e-bay shipper the other day...literally PERFECT condition, only flaw was no head cover included (I use my own anyways). I have taken it to the range a few times since receiving it and have to say I LOVE this driver. Normally, when my swing is off I struggle with a slice. This club is listed as "3 degrees open face". I have hit probably 75% fewer slices with this club than my old one...I highly doubt the face is really that open. I'm probably hitting it about 5-10 yards further with this than I was with my old one, but the most important part is I'm hitting it much more consistently, despite the extra 1/2 inch on the shaft. This club may not be for everyone, but it's definitely for me
  16. my experience exactly
  17. Well I live in California and every time I've ordered from them (lostgolfballs) the standard shipping has been almost $10. Absolutely ludicrous when you consider that the balls come via USPS in their smallest standard shipping box available. One weekend if you're bored go down to the P.O. and put 12 balls in one of those boxes then take it to the counter and ask to mail them...it's not close to $10. Golf Ball Nut has as good if not better (in my experience, their "very good" quality is exactly the same as the AAAA balls that I got from lostgolfballs) balls with the most reasonable shipping I've seen...and they get to me in no more than 2-3 business days. Awesome!
  18. just wanted to put a plug in for this site as I've used it recently and been THRILLED with their stuff. I searched for deals on golf balls on Amazon.com and came upon this site. Golfballnut.com is a used golf ball site much like lostgolfballs.com. The difference is that this site does not absolutely RIP YOU OFF with $9 shipping charges on 12 golf balls. I ordered a dozen Bridgestone B330Rx balls from them, listed as "very good" condition for $19 (this is like the third ranking down on their site which goes from New, Mint, Near Mint, then very good). These balls were FLAWLESS. It was rare even to find a single small imperfection on any of them. With shipping the total price tag was $23...I was so happy that I ordered a second dozen from them to stock up. I recommend this site to anyone looking for a deal on golf balls. My experience with them has been amazing.
  19. Yup I just managed to get one in a bid on ebay for $150 in like-new condition. PRETTY STOKED. Cant wait for the stick to get here!
  20. If he's hitting it side by side with his other driver is it really his swing that's changing things? Or is the club simply superior (for him) compared to the R9? I feel like a lot of people on this forum are TM haters simply because they put out lots of clubs each year, and dont give them their fair due for putting out good clubs when they do. I play a TM driver from about 2 years ago, but am in no way biased towards the company. I do however feel that credit needs to be given where it is due. I'm looking forward to hitting the superfast TP at a proshop with a range so I can see how it performs for me. And best believe I'll be honest/realistic about the results.
  21. I actually like your swing quite a bit. Nice and smooth with good velocity through impact and a good finish. IDK if you're hitting it 300 with a 3 wood but that's not the point. I think if you worked on making your base a bit stronger it could add to your power. The first thing I thought looking at your setup was "his feet look kind of close together, he must just be setting up" and then you swung the club. I almost feel like i'm used to seeing guys take your setup, then take another step to half step to widen the stance before swinging. Other than that, really like the swing. I actually find it hard to believe that you're a 12 handicap with that swing....makes me feel better about myeslf :). I guess we all have things to work on.
  22. Regular SF is 46.5"...TP is 46". Liked the feel of the head and the shaft on the TP a LOT more, and I think most people would also. It's just a better club plain and simple
  23. What effect would cutting the tip rather than the butt have? I heard someone talking about taking 0.5" off of the tip, rather than 0.75" off of the butt because the shaft he had was mid spin and he wanted low spin. How exactly would cutting the tip affect the shaft's performance?
