  1. This club is my favorite driver to date bar-none. Finding the TP isn't easy sub $150. The Rombax REAX 75g shaft is pure.
  2. Not a bad looking swing at all. I'd work on widening your takeaway. As previously mentioned, you are well inside the ideal plane for your take away, and as a result the club is crossing the target line at the top. When you are at the range, work on your take away by laying a club 2-3 feet behind ball, in line with the target. Try to start your swing along this line... it will feel awful at first, but it will teach you to take the club away in a wider arch, which will help generate clubhead speed as well as get your hands higher at the top. Good luck!
  3. Living in the midwest, it seems I may have spent too much of the winter lifting/running and not stretching or hitting. Looks like I've lost a fair bit of flexibility, and my ball striking is suffering. I've noticed the tendency to lift my left heel slightly when I'm not focused on it, and the tendency is for my foot to spin in place and open a bit. I can't help but feel that this may be culprit for the slight fade to my shots, and the inconsistent ball striking (wish is so well hidden with my irons ) My normal shot is a high draw, Does anyone have any input regarding the left heel and ball striking?
  4. Pardon my lack of gratuitous signature... I'll have to manually key one in for this post. As others have said, it's certainly tough to make any meaningful suggestions without seeing your swing plane and action at the top. If you can post even front a side still images at the top, that would be helpful. With that said, what is your normal ball flight? 1. It doesn't look like you are generating a ton of lag in this shot, which is something you could work on by softening your wrists and hands at your transition. Are you happy with your distance right now? 2. Also, looking at your left knee... looks like a good amount of hip tilt. You could try keeping a firmer left heel at the top and focus on turning your hips rather than tilting. Post back when you can! 5. There was an article recently in Golf Digest that described how important the left hand/forearm angle is in solid ball striking. For a RH player, the arctile mentioned maintaining the relational angle between the left hand (your right) and the forearm that you create while address. If you flatten or cup your wrist at the top, it can effect your ball striking and squareness at impact. "Casting" typically refers to breaking down at the top, doesn't it (different than what we are talking about here)
  6. Without seeing your swing, it's tough to tell what's causing you to sway and pull through the ball. However, I'd work hard on turning your hips on the the way back while maintaining pressure on the inside of your right foot. As soon as you let your weight roll outside your right foot, it becomes much easier to sway through the ball and you lose a great deal of torque in the downswing. Try this - stomp a range ball 1/2 way into the ground. Take your stance with this half-submerged range ball under the outside of your right foot (under arch). If done correctly, this should slightly cant your right knee in. Hit a few shots this way, and concentrate on loading up on the inside of your right foot, powering off of it through impact. My dad would also suggest i hit shots with the idea that I was pinching a beachball between my knees. Both ideas work to create a turn at the hits rather than a lower body sway. Good luck!
  7. Give some of the recent TaylorMade cavity backs a try. Many of their game improvement irons are very easy to hit... Even a nicer club like the r7 TP could be a good fit for growth.
