  1. Hi guys Im looking for some help with my game, or at least some input from you. I have been able to become a 7-handicapper, since I started playing golf 20 month ago. It been an amazing and fun journey and I have invested the hours as well. I dont have a certain strength (like a super long drive for instance), but I have a nice and decent swing and I consider myself all round player. Okay, so far so good. Here is the issue: Im a home course hero - meaning my handicap is made from rounds on my home course. When I play my home course, I kill it, but every time I play on other courses, it kills me It bothers me and I know it is a mental thing, but still it is weird. How can there be 15-20 shots difference ? I guess it maybe has something to do with my fast development - like I need to grow mentally as well, but what is your input ? Have you heard about this before - any ideas how move along ?
  2. After a couple of slow years Im thinking of giving my game a boost this spring. So I have decided to spend the money to go to REAL professional trainer to help me out. After some research, I have chosen Leadbetter´s academy. It looks very good and they have some interesting intensive clinics, but I cant find any reviews on it, so can you help me out ? It is worth the money ? I can see they have several academies in different locations - are there any difference or should I just go for the nearest ? Please give me you input if you have tried the Leadbetter academy Michael
  3. I only played nine holes because of frost delays (live in nc), but I shot a 41, which was pretty good in those conditions. I have not played for 3-4 weeks, and the ground was so hard you was not able to get a tee in the ground, but on the upside the ball was bouncing like on a ping pong table - nice long drive, but hard to control on the green.
  4. Well, I play 2-3 rounds, but I am up on the golf course 4-5 times a week for pratice
  5. I also putt on carpet in my basement. The surface is not even close to a real green, then it still gives me good feel for ball "strike" and control - but of course it depends on what kind of carpet we are talking about
