Thanks for reminding me to check them to my specs and not just standard. Do you guys have any thoughts on the differences between the Project X's and the Rifle Flighted? I like that the Rifle Flighted's have somewhat progressive kickpoints, but am a little concerned that a Flighted 6.5 might not be as stiff as a Project X 6.5. Sorry if that question should go in a separate thread.

Howdy. Hoping for some help from some folks who know these things. I'm smitten with the Mizuno MP-62's and went through a fitting that called for Rifle Flighted or Project X 6.5's built +.5" over. Standard lofts and lies. I'm looking at a set online at a great price that have Rifle Flighted 6.5's, but the shafts are built +1.5". My question is, just how badly would I screw these clubs up by trimming an inch off the butt? I'm comfortable swinging anything up to an x100, but I guess I'm concerned about making them feel too boardy. Am I over thinking this, or is it stupid to cut a full inch off and expect decent performance? Thanks for any help.
