  1. Only 1 Tree on the course, no need for that chainsaw in you're bag then, here in Ireland we have parkland courses and sometimes you play the course from inside the trees, I sometimes just keep hitting those trees, and hitting them and hitting them!
  2. Hey There!, Golf is massive here in Ireland and I'll tell ya some of the courses are better than anywhere else, Adare in Limerick, Ballybunion in Kerry (Favourite of Bill Clinton), K Club host of Ryder Cup, Portmarnock, Lahinch etc etc, the list is endless and we love to host our American Cousins as well and will give ye a real welcome, come over and you won't regret it!.#
  3. tying a rope is a good idea alright but an easier way is to take a shot and remember to keep your elbow at your side all through the shot, it sounds a little crazy but it works and the shot is as good as the next guy, just swing back and thru but keep that elbow stuck to you're side!!..it works!!
  4. Hi, Try to relax more is an obvious tip but also don't be afraid of the ball and just hit it......try to think more about you're finish and follow thru than you're start, by having a very well defined and sweeping follow thru you will develop a fluid swing, I Hope you do!.
  5. Hi, Yes I do play every week, come rain or shine I get out and do my best, at the moment it's very frosty so we need to watch the greens but I'll get in 9 holes at some stage - a few of us are hoping to play St Andrews in Scotland next summer and that will be my first visit there.
  6. my previous intro was deleted!, my name is mike from Ireland and I'm looking forward to discussing golf matters with ye all and getting the better of this game. happy golfing!
