I decided to go over to Carl's Golfland today and demo the R11 Irons. Overall I like the irons alot! I currently have the taylormade burner 1.0 irons with std steel shafts and the reduced cavity feel and smaller top lines are great. I just need to decide now if they are worth $799!

I have realized that hitting a fade could help my game very much, and I've been working on it for a couple days without success. Any suggestions on hitting a fade?

You can't beat the Oakley Flak Jackets with the G-30(golf specific) lenses. The flak jackets let you interchange lenses for whatever climate you need. I'm a Oakley fanatic so there is no compromising on my part when I purchase sunglasses. I already own 7 Oakleys(5 sunglasses, 2 Snowmobile goggles). Forest, you can buy the cheap tifosi sunglasses, but I have yet to have my Oakleys break after 7+ years.

I hit my buddies R7 superquad with a stiff shaft and I couldn't hit this driver bad at all. I am certainly going to look for one online. Any thoughts on this driver?

The last time I hit into the launch monitor earlier on in the season before I was looking at a stiff shaft I was recorded as swinging 109 mph

I recently trasitioned from graphite eagle eye irons to steel shafted irons which work very well. I also bought a taylormade 3 wood with a stiff shaft that has worked very well. I have a extremely fast swing which leaves me really no choice but to look at stiff shafts. I also tried my friends driver which has my exact driver head, but with a stiff shaft and that worked very well. That is how I "concluded" that I need a stiff shaft.

I played 9 holes today and I concluded that I need to look at a stiff shaft for my driver and my rescue 4i. Any aftermarket shafts that are better than others? Any input on this subject would be great.

I orginally had callaway eagle eye irons with graphite shafts. Let's just say the burners with the steel shafts are a huge difference. Now I need to find a driver that works:)

I got some new Taylormade Burner Irons(steel shafts) yesterday, and today I used them when I played 9 at Meadowbrook Country Club. I shot a 55, but I'm still developing as a golfer and learning yardages with my irons. I was comparing these irons to the ap1's and I got to say that these irons hit so incredibly soft when the sweet spot is struck! anybody know how to change the color of your username? I'm not a chick and I hate pink

Best shot of the week for me was a drive that I shot using my cleveland hibore 11.5 driver 225 yards straight as hell
