  1. Hi, i'm planning on buying a putter from rockbottomgolf.com Now, my question to all Canadian buyers is.. how much was your import taxes + duties? I've had two purchases before, one that I believe the brokerage fee I had to pay for when it came to my door which was (~$40 for everything)and this was only for a driver, and one where i bought a 5-pw set and it was only 19$ (had a 10$ flat brokerage fee) so, i'll assume the duties and taxes are relatively cheap and it was the brokerage fee that really bit me in the butt the first time. Do any canadian buyers out there know approximatively how much the taxes/duties from buying an item from the united states usually costs them? I'll only be buying a putter.
  2. aw yes, when i first signed up i was unsure of my handicap and i forgot to change it since
  3. Hello, I just started golfing this season regularly, mainly practicing at the golf range to work on my swing, with a few rounds of golf. Now, I do not have a full bag of golf clubs as of yet, so I need to decide what clubs I should have in my golf bag. At the moment i have: Cleveland Hibore XL Tour Driver 9.5° 5-PW Adams Idea(improvement clubs) This is what I was thinking my golf bag would look like; 13 Clubs in it at the moment. Driver 3Wood 5Wood 3Iron ~23° Hybrid 5-PW Irons Sand Wedge Lob Wedge Putter I'm not exactly sure what else I should include, other then maybe a gap wedge, but I don't really think it's necessary. Also, what clubs do you prefer to get out of light rough, and heavy rough while not around the green? Alot of the pros seem to be using 5 woods to get out of rough, as well as hybrids. But i'm not sure what hybrids they use to get out of tough rough. Any recommendations for me :P? I'm a high-mid handicapper at the moment. Oh, as well I have no preferences on club manufacturers other than I seem to enjoy cleveland products when I have a chance to use them.
  4. Even after tiger woods as had his off the course complications, I still think after his career is finished he will be seen as one of the best if not the best golfer of all time.
  5. Today i shot a 49 on the front 9 of my golf course, not bad considering i've only gotten to the course twice this year. Most my time is spent on the range practicing. :)
  6. Par 5 514 Yards, got just off the green in two hits for an eagle chance. Bombed it with my driver and my 3 iron :), sadly I screwed up the rest of the hole haha but it was great feeling to go for it and to be in a chance to get eagles/birdies.
