While there are no direct affiliations between the NGA Tour and the Web.com Tour or PGA TOUR, the NGA Tour continues to have more players than any other in developmental golf move up to the premier tours each year, be it through the season ending Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament (formerly PGA TOUR Q School), Monday qualifying into PGA TOUR & Web.com Tour events, or receiving one of the many Web.com Tour (and in some cases even PGA TOUR) event exemptions. The NGA Tour received exemptions into the 2014 Sanderson Farms Championship and 2013 & 2014 Reno-Tahoe Open PGA TOUR events.
The NGA Tour has received over 30 PGA TOUR & Web.com Tour event exemptions since the 2010 season.
NGA Tour members such as Peter Malnati, Ted Potter Jr, and Russell Knox, just to name a few, all moved up in-season through Monday Qualifiers.
It would be great if the PGA TOUR would take us over as the official developmental tour for the Web.com Tour here in the states and did the same deal as the NEC Series & PGA Tour Canada where the leading money gets full Web.com Tour status, 2 through 5 get conditional, and 6 through 10 get into final stage of the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament.
