  1. Last golf related purchase for me : 3 swim caps 😅 Golf course is quite muddy here during the winter and it's a mess to clean the pushcart's wheels every time. Hence last weekend : I played with someone who installed swim caps on the wheels. He get them off at the end of the round, soak them in water and it's done. I was amazed.
  2. The putter I had was a 2nd hand Taylormade Rosa I chose mainly because of the price and because it looked really nice. It went well for the last couple of years as I was new to golf but last week I decided for the first time to treat myself with a nice golf club so I am now the happy owner of a Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 ! All my other clubs are entry level clubs and ti be honest they are not the main cause of my missed shots so I decided to replace them with better clubs step by step. It will give me time to make the right choice (I'm thinking about a fitting too) and as I will not have to replace everything all at once it will also raise the budget. In my opinion the putter was the first on the list as it is the club use the most and as I don't think it will become obsolete quickly if not at all. Next steps will be my driver (I'm using a 10 year old driver from Inesis).
  3. I used to play with Inesis Tour 900. They are a ProV1-like and I used to have a good price from the shop for them (45€ for 24 balls). They discontinued the discount so I recently tried Vice Pro (with the Drip colors) and they feel great. I will keep them until the end of the year and will think about playing them next year or not. Price is a bit higher than with the Inesis for what I feel like similar performance.

  5. Recently I used POSCA's paint markers and they are just great. They are available in a very wide range of colour and with a medium tip I'm able to draw / write whatever I want on the ball and keep it discreet. The paint doesn't wears off so quickly (much less than what it takes me to lose the ball).
