Hi All.
I've been working a lot of my swing for the past 6/9 months. Main things I've changed is a shorter backswing (it was John Daly long) less forward bend at address and my club path has gone from minus 15 average to closer to 0 and a lot more swings in the plus. I think my shoulders are still a bit too flat on backswing but when I steepen them I'll hit it fat most the time.
I've always struggled with my lower body. EE, stalling not getting the weight onto my lead side. As seen on video it just looks wrong. I know what I want to try and do with keeping the right hip back and move the left back on downswing to make room for my arms but doing it is a whole other story. It always feels like my right hip is in the way. I've tried Monte's zipper away. Bumping the hips, wall drill but I can't get it to click.
Appreciate any drills or feedback on my swing and things to work on to try and get the lower body working as with everything I've read it could be something im doing before the downswing that is making clearing the hips just not possible.
