What a coincidence. Today, when I got home after a round of golf, I saw a tick on my ankle. It was the first time I have ever seen a tick. I was playing at course by the water, but like you, I was not in any high grass -- only fairway, rough, and sand traps. All I know is from now on I plan on wearing long socks and golf pants.

I am looking for an instructor on Long Island. Recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer one who uses video.

Based on what I know of Tiger, he would not give such clubs to this guy. This guy seems to be unemployed at the moment, so perhaps he is desperate for cash. Or perhaps this guy simply misunderstood Tiger. But if as some say, the ball mark is too low, then they are not Tiger's practice clubs — rather they are frauds. Regardless, Tiger is in a position to prove this guy is a liar simply by showing the clubs in his garage to someone. If the ball mark is identical then the clubs might Tiger's, but they are most likely practice clubs.

I am looking to be fitted for a driver in NYC or Long Island, preferably outdoors on a range. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks.

Just began playing golf this year. I broke 100 recently, and I am close to playing bogey golf. I hope to break 90 soon. After using a set of clones (Pinemeadow), I am now looking to upgrade — beginning first with my irons. After some online research, I am looking at the Adams A4 and the TM Burners. I will most likely go to Golfsmith this week to try out both sets, but I wanted to get some opinions first. Thanks so much.

I just started playing golf this summer. The first few weeks were a true horror show — topping, slicing, pushing. The game was not enjoyable. Since beginning S&T; two weeks ago, I am hitting substantially better. The "simplified" swing makes it easier for me to hit the ball more consistently. The first time I used the the swing at the driving range, I hit my driver straight (and far) five times in a row — something I never managed to do before. I see myself sticking with it for the foreseeable future.

Congrats! I just started playing, but during a terrible round of golf last week, I eagled a par 4. My first shot was off the fairway. My second shot, which was about 170 yards from the hole, hit the front of the green and rolled in. It took me a few seconds to comprehend what happened. It felt great and made a bad day bearable. But, unfortunately, I may never hit a shot like that again. It wasn't a hole in one, but it is the par-4 variation of one.
