30 tour wins and 3 Majors... He's already a Champion
-
I might try X-20's or maybe the new X-Forged???
-
I say Charles Howell III as well.
-
I haven't hit it yet But The FT-i looks alright, if a bit weird from address. I would be interested to hit it
-
You probably went with the right choice then. straight is very important
-
Let us know How you hit it I just hit My FT-3 For the first time this week Good distance I just wish I didn't have a bad slice I'll work on it
-
really? I seem to hit it very well, with a high trajectery. will a lower bouce make it that much easier??? I'm not sure Exactly how bounce works. And yeah cheyenne isn't exactly set up for golf :(
-
I'm trying to get on the course at least twice a week
-

Clubswiger21 I think you have maybe mistaken what I'm was trying to say. I think Titleist are GREAT clubs and I can only hope that one day I can have the ball striking ablitiy to figure out what this great feel I keep hearing about is. I personnal am not there yet. I love my callaways. There great for ME. But what i do feel is That there is some snobbery about Titleist clubs. Its like your not a real golfer if you don't play them. Thats why everyone feels that Els just went for the $$$$ "cause why would he leave the great Titleist for forgiving Callaway crap blah blah" Unless it was for the cash right??? For some reason I don't think Erine Els will be playing Big bertha 06's(he is playing X-forged by the way) One of the reasons why I put a handicap # to person who probably shouldn't play Titleist is that Titleist doesn't even recommend persons with less then a 15 hp play there irons! http://www.titleist.com/images/produ...6IronGuide.pdf Once again though this is just my opinion
-
I played a round yesterday and really it was so-so But the one thing that was on was my short game!!!!!! I was killing it with my bb 06 sand wedge. Now I'm kind of looking into a lob wedge. I'm about a 25 hp now but hopeful that will be going down soon. What do you guys think???
-
welcome to the forum!!!!
-
I think maybe its a lot easier for you to say you can hit anything with a 7 handicap. Just because a 30 handicapper plays titleist doesn't mean they should. But who knows, ball striking may be the only part of the game, that person is good at! What i do know is that ball striking and slicing are two of the biggest problems for amateurs in golf. Why make the game harder then it has to be. I know That I personnaly would have no business playing titleist irons, and I just hope that responsible 30 handicappers would know the same
-
not great but hey it was the first round of the season. I forgot to get a score card But I was in the 50s for 9 holes Got alot of work to do
-
Yeah I have to Agree If you want Titleist, then you know it, you don't need Els to tell you so. As for the 90%+ other golfers out there, Callaway is a great club and really its a smart choice. Could you imagine if every 30+ handicapper played 695.MB's???? Wow, Talk about pace of play....

Do I need a 5 wood in this bag ?
lane_3303 replied to Carnoustie_Stokie's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I don't use a 5 wood anymore. I never could hit it the way I wanted to. I just got a 2 hybrid Hoping it will do the job -
Golf Digest HOT LIST BIASED????
lane_3303 replied to shinujk1's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I think it is just that The forgivness and playablity of the clubs of the average golfer. Now I do think that there should be 2 lists 'one for the average golfer...like me And one for the low handicappers. -
Titleist: Low handicappers or pros, or for peolpe who want to be taken seriously by their friends! Callaway: Forgiving Drivers, woods, and irons for the everyday player. Marketing Machine, They sold me :) Taylormade: Great Woods If somewhat complicated for a high handicapper, Sub par irons imho Ping:Great Forgiveng Irons, Putters somewhat over shadowed by Titleist, Odyssey. Nike: Descent Woods, everything else is CRAP, Average Joe Just wants to be like Tiger Adams: HYBRID and Senior clubs Mizuno: Oooo Forged Irons and thats about it. Cleveland: Wedges Wilson: Beginners clubs only This is just my opinion of what I think about when I here the brand name.
