  1. ^This. I would if i could. But, i've also been looking at other options, and i came across the cleveland Niblick, which comes in a 49 degree loft. any of you guys know about that?
  2. Perfect! then i think i'll get whichever of the two lofts that i can in a CG15, since i am getting a new iron set soon i will be getting a sort of "player's cavity" as mizuno puts it. Any of you guys, form personal experience, know the difference in feel/forgiveness in the CG14 and the CG15?
  3. Good response time guys! Because of my financial situation at the moment, i think i am going to just buy 1 club to fit in the middle and take my 4-iron out of the bag (i have a 4-hybrid already in the bag as well) I looked into the varying lofts of cleveland CG15 wedges and found that there is a 50 degree with a 10 degree bounce and a 48 degree with an 8 degree bounce. if i bend the loft of the club, will it affect the bounce as well? or should i take each factor into consideration to decide between the two lofts? also, could the forged blade of the CG15 and the cavity back of the x18 be affecting the distance gap? i feel if i get an AW from, say, the x20 iron set, would that make it any different than if i were to get a CG15 bent to 49?
  4. Hello everybody! Good day to you all! I am coming here to ask you a question. i am in a bit of a bind as i have a 30 yard difference between my Cleveland CG15 Wedge and my Callaway X18 Pitching wedge. I hit my cleveland 100 and my PW 130, and i am trying to find a club in the middle so i can hit it about 115 so that i won't be deciding between muscling a 52 degree or babying a PW whenever i am at that distance, which i seem to get into a lot. I am planning on buying a set of new irons, most likely mizuno MP-63s, and the PW in that set has similar specs to the set i have now. What my golf coach suggested is that i buy a 50 or 48 degree wedge and bend it to be 49 to put it right in the middle. would this be a good idea?
  5. Penta TP all the way. used to play Pro-V's, and the V1x would go far off the driver and would hit, bounce, and stop, the V1 would go short off the driver and hit, maybe bounce, and spin back (most times a little too far). The Penta goes far off the driver and hits, maybe bounces, and spins back the perfect amount. Great feel off the putter face too.
  6. Yes. yes i am. i'm getting a Rossa during the winter, so ill either use the stock headcover or find some fun collegiate or novelty headcover to go with it
  7. uploading photos to imageshack..................................................................... *Bashes head on desk due to slow internet connection* Front view Side view with Titleist logo And *Drum Roll* This is it. It's been used for three seasons so far, so you can see the stitching around it wearing off. the velcro is not very strong anymore and it overall just is worn down. but it's a legit circle-T
  8. like i said, i'll post a picture of it later. No circle-T on the putter, putter is nothing short of a normal retail. Two years ago, i attended this clinic at my local golf club, and an LPGA pro came and was teaching us about better ways to practice, and she gave my swing coach a bag of putters and wedges which he gave out to all of us. there was a SC headcover in there, and i did what any other golfer would do and i went straight at it. There's my true story that STILL nobody believes to this day. as soon as they hear that a SC putter was given to me free of charge they stop believing.
  9. I kid you not. it's the yellow Scotty Cameron Studio Design headcover, the yellow one, and it has a red Circle-T. i'll post a picture later
  10. Use a Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Newport Mid, from like '04 or '05, Switching to the Rossa Daytona Ghost soon. My Scotty's headcover has a T surrounded by a near-complete circle, does anybody know what this means?
  11. brand doesn't matter, it's all about what feels best to you. try out every style. and also think of a blade or a mallet. do you frequently leave the ball short? if so, then try a mallet to put more weight behind the ball at impact. on a side note, it's not the arrow, it's the indian. i caddying for a guy once who had this bad boy shown above, and he was the greatest putter in the club. he made almost everything.
  12. Getting the Rossa Daytona Ghost for christmas. tried it at the store, for 130 dollars its much much better than a Scotty IMO
  13. As the "Year of the Wedge" is wrapping up, I have realized that my 3 year old CG10's are worn down beyond recognition. My question is, should i buy the new grooved CG15's or buy the old grooved CG15's with the "Zip Grooves" before they're gone? I just finished my sophomore season of high school golf, and i am not planning on playing in college. The deadline for handicap posting is 2024, so the USGA rules are not in effect for me yet. what would you do?
  14. my favorite golfer... disgraced
  15. keep lower body quiet. hit balls at the range while doing this and shot a 76 in my tournament the next day, won it. basically that's all i think about when i swing
