  1. There are several post I have listed to help other regarding indoor simulators and each day I re-enter they have disappeared. Whats up with this?
  2. I have always played the callaway X series wedges 56 & 60 but this year I am going to try the Cleveland CG-12s
  3. I have always used the Titleist Pro V but this year I am trying the new Bridgestone 330. Will let you know if I see any major difference. If you are not interested in which ball you play but the price then I would suggest trying different balls but buy them from an online store such as knetgolf.com you can buy different grades and all are good. They ship in the US and Canada. I ordered some Thursday and had them on Friday.
  4. Has anyone had the opportunity of trying the new 2008 R7 CGB max 3 wood? I saw it at the Orlando PGA show and it has a nice look.
  5. As a member of a private club most of the previous post are correct. Get your local club or if you know someone from a private course really well then have that course pro call on your behalf. If the course calling is private they might look at your visit more favorable. The other option is some private clubs have yearly pro/am tournaments and it is a way you can play email the club and see if they have any tournaments during your visit. Other than that I would suggest finding another club. Most members of private clubs know everyone and you would not want to upset some of these members as they pretty high dues and fees yearly for a reason. Best of luck.
  6. I did some research and the only simulator that I could find in Seattle area was this one. http://www.joeprogolflab.com Maybe call him he could advise where else or a closer one in the area.
  7. Main Job. CEO of an Entertainment Transportation Company 2nd Job. President of computer software program company 3rd Job. President / owner of the Golfer's Academy Indoor Golf Center. I prefer the 3rd one the best as Golf is my passion but the 1st 2 pay the bills.
  8. Most of the time the Golf superstores bump up the power thru their internal utilities menu. This is done so people will think that they get that little extra distance off the tee when in actuality they may get a bump of 10 - 15 yards.
  9. I was just on the igolf website and tried to search a few courses in Canada but nothing came up. Anyone know if they map public courses before private courses?
  10. I travelled out to British Columbia, Canada last year and they had some beautiful courses. But I guess just the ability to play golf anywhere is great. I am sure every country and every state has their own gem.
  11. Actualy you are completely incorrect Tiger_who. Pilates is a the strengthening of your core thru resistance training without the use of weights. As a Golfer you want the flexibility with the core strength not the bulk you get with weight training. Now I am not saying dont use weights however you want to do lighter weights with more reps if you do. Harrinjj my suggestion is to look for a local pilates studio and call to ask them to design a home program for you. If you cannot find one you can contact this studio and I am sure they can help out. www.serenityvalley.ca but to get the best program it should be designed around your body type and range of flexibility that is why it is best to find a local instructor. Spend a little money to get the best results.
  12. Started Playing when I was 28 Played my first round in Indiana with a business client. Been playing now for 8years and love the game. Wish I would have played when I was younger. My daughter is 2yrs old and I have already got her swinging her own clubs.
  13. My setup is center of the ball to the center of my R7 Quad. However I do not ground my club at setup. The path at follow thru is usually on the up slope by the time impact of the clubface and ball meet. This gives me an average of 270 carry with a 107 mph club speed.
  14. Why don't we start a threat about all the good indoor simulator locations everyone knows about around North America. post information or website links to your favorite training center to keep up on your swing during winter or bad weather. http://www.thegolfersacademy.com Burlington, Ontario Canada Full indoor training center equipped with a simulator and personal strength training
