Hey everyone! Just booked my vacation for Myrtle Beach in October. I know it's a little ways out yet, and I looked in the other forum, but most of it is dated, so I'm looking for an update for Myrtle Beach golf. My son and I will just be playing. I will also have my wife and daughter doing their thing, so funds will be a little lower than I like to spend on golf. Probably will be able to golf 2 days, possibly 3. Looking for some nice/decent courses with green fees of around the $60 mark. Could probably go up to $100, but that would be max. Would prefer to stay closer to the lower end if possible. My son and I both shoot anywhere from 82-90 depending on the day lol. Don't mind challenging at all, but we do want to enjoy our rounds and not get frustrated if you know what I mean. So I'm just wondering how you feel about the tracer they periodically use on TV to show the flight of the ball. I happen to love this and wonder why they don't use it on every shot on TV. I'm not sure if it's only certain networks that use it or are allowed to use it, but I wish they would do it for every shot they show on TV. It is so hard to sometimes see the flight of the ball after they hit it. Like I said, I love it and wish they would use it all the time. How do you all feel about it?

So if I use a player on Thursday, than put him on the bench on Friday, than put him back in for Saturday and Sunday, does that count as 1 start or 3 starts? So basically is a start for the whole Tourney? Also, what if you don't use a player on your bench. Does that also count as a start or a time used for that player even if u don't use him? Thanks

Also, with doing the fantasy golf, are you able to change your golfers from your bench to your starter from round to round? Or what is the purpose of the starters and bench I guess. Just want to make sure I understand it. Thanks

My biggest thing I need to concentrate on is not worrying about holding people up behind me and staying focused. I worry so much about holding people up, even when I have a group in front of me holding us up. It is the #1 thing that affects my golf game and keeps my from scoring the way I am capable of. I need to work on the mental part of the game a lot. Next is my gosh darn 3 putts. I had countless birdie putts and for some reason my touch was awful with my putting this year. I probably lost at least 3-5 strokes a round with my putting alone. And I'd like to walk more rounds than ride this year as well. Hope everyone reaches their goals!

Im gonna have to look at the putter well a little more in detail on my Ogio. I do have the 2.0 SuperStroke putter grip. It's not huge, but definitely bigger. Thanks for bringing that to my attention

I just went to Golfsmith to check out their bags as they have a really good selection. I really liked the the Sun Mountains after looking at them. I didn't realize they were that nice of a Bag. Definitely gonna go back and take a stronger look at them.

Dave, how long have you had yours? Roughly how many rounds with it? And I'm wondering if the way it springs back will wear out after time. Those are my concerns. Thanks

I'm sure I could search for this, but I'd like an updated opinion on some of the better cart bags out there. My wife just bought me the Ogio Skype which has the zipperless ball pocket, which I really wanted, and I love the bag, but after some research and advice on here I'm a little worried about it. I'm thinking about taking it back and getting a different one. With that said, I am an Ogio fan and love their bags but am open to any brand out there that will suit my needs. My current bag is an Ogio, but its time to retire it. I don't need a ton of pockets, but definitely big enough for my shoes on the side. Of course the front top and bottom pocket and 2 nice sized side pockets for my accessories would be nice. Price range $120-150. Thanks for your guys help.
