  1. actually they are most likely the same quality take clothes factory for an example, you can buy the same exact polo at nordstrom's for $20 where it is made in the same exact factory as the $90 lacoste polos
  2. Over my years of obsession of this great game, I have received many swing tips that have benefited me greatly and propelled me to shoot some great scores. However, I have recently been put in a dilemma with too much swing advice. An open face with a neutral grip or a closed face with a stronger left hand grip. I have been off and on trying both swings and receive success in both swings. An open faced swing for me promotes a tiny cut with high ball flight and distances around 130 for my pitching wedge. However, with a close face I can hit my pitching wedge up to 160 but my ball flight is a little lower, not much, than an open faced. Both are fairly consistent as I work with both, but with the closed face I get the occasional hook when I am not careful. So please, tell me what you think and if you have tried both swings, tell me what swing you decided on and why. Was it for distance or accuracy?
  3. Hitting fat is a huge problem and I still struggle with it on occasions. However, once my son gave me a tip it has helped tremendously. Once you get to the top of your backswing, start your downswing imagining your left side of your body is hitting an imaginary brick wall created by the outside of your front foot. Even though your hips may clear where they were at address while you are impacting the ball, you will surely get your weight forward.
  4. I once struggled with it but soon fixed it with this very easy drill at the Driving range. First warm up your swing until you feel comfortable enough to swing a fairway wood. Second, hit about 10-15 balls off your normal tee height. Third, move down the tee a little bit (an inch to half an inch should be sufficient) and hit 10-15 balls or as many until you feel comfortable at that tee height. Fourth, hit 10-15 balls with your fairway wood off the turf. This gradual change in height will help you hit it off the turf with ease. Hope I helped.
  5. Congrats on fixing your slice and having immediate success with your new technique. The swing your describing is exactly like Dustin Johnson's (except he has a very strong grip) who can hit the ball a mile. during a clinic he used this technique to hit his driver 324 carry.
  6. When I really want to crank it, my distances are as follow; Driver-290 3 wood-270 3 iron-240 4 iron-230 5 iron-220 6 iron-210 7 iron-200 8 iron-185 9 iron-175 P wedge-160 52 wedge-135 56 wedge-115 60 wedge-100 *Note-I do de-loft with a closed face so my distances are a bit inflated
  7. One simple tip I learned to create lag is to not even think about lag. Any good teacher will tell you that. However, if you are desperate for lag, you can just take it more inside. The farther inside you take, the more lag you create. Take those two tips into consideration and you will get lag no problem.
  8. You seem like your swinging with your arms more than your body. RELAX YOUR ARMS AND SWING WITH YOUR BODY.
