hey guys i was just wondering how many different types of golf jobs are out there aside from greenskeeping and a golf pro, i love the game and id love to have a career in it somehow.

It depends what you mean by golf jobs. Two of my clients are the PGA and LPGA and we place people there working all the time. But 90% of them are non golf jobs. Such as sales or event coordination. At clubs, there are tons of jobs such as Food & Beverage, Sales, Memberships, etc... I think you need to narrow down what you like, and if you want to be in golf, talk to a consultant.

Im sure the sales rep end of it is flooded with people like all of the other industries. But that could be something to shoot for. Lots of free swag and you get to meet a ton of people in the industry.

My friend tried to get a sales rep job (like selling clubs to people at demo days, stuff like that, you know) and he couldn't...they are very tough to get. My dad also looked for a job like that, because he has a background in sales, he wanted to get a job with titleist, or callaway, or a big company, and he was told they mostly take 'within' the company, the jobs are very rare that you can find one.

I work with the 2 leading golf manufacturers in the industry and they have sales jobs open everywhere. But they look for experience.

Also look at the bottom of companies websites. They usually always have a career section.

      Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.

      So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon

      It is a known technique, similar to the armed forces box technique. They use a 4x4 , in through the nose and out through the mouth. I use it to go to sleep fairly often. It works for me
