The 16th @ Scottsdale, rowdiest hole of the year?

Could you elaborate? Just curious to hear from an actual spectator.

Wife and I attended - followed Anthony Kim (threesome w/ Cink & K Perry) for a few holes. Phil was in the group behind and got to watch a couple shots from Phil. Grabbed a bite to eat at the food court then made the jaunt to the 16th. General admission line to get up in the stands but not much of a wait. Copped a spot on the east side (back side) of the green under the huge jumbo-tron for about an hour. I'm a firm believer most that come don't really care about the game. It's one big social gathering. And fashion show! The corporate suites IMHO, were louder than the general admission fans. Louder as in talking and not paying attention to the golfer on the tee. Constant muttering. But no heckling prior to or while the player was either going through his pre-shot routine and/or addressing the ball.

I have not been to any other PGA event other than the few years I've gone to FBR so I can't compare. But from what I see on TV, it's a total different atmosphere between the types of people that come to the FBR vs. say the folks at US Open, Buick etc.. Maybe someone that has been to both can chime in? Fore! E

Thanks for that. I think it's important to hear from someone who has been there. I've got my concerns, but if some of them aren't valid, or in practice aren't a problem, it's good to know.
