New Putter!

Bad results. Took my dad out yesterday afternoon for a leisurely 9 hole round. From tee to green I couldn't have been happier! I hit 6 of 7 fairways and 7 greens (the 2 misses were on the fringe). Again, no complaints on ball striking. I chipped both balls on the fringe inside 4 feet. On paper should have been a fairly good round….WRONG….7 pars, 2 bogies, and 18 putts !

I think I'll keep my day job for a while (hopefully, I work for the automotive industry! ).

Ive given up to the fact that however of a good putter you might be (or belive you might be), it just comes and goes. I'll putt great for a month or so, average around 26-30 putts a round, and then out of nowhere i cant sink a putt into a hole the size of a manhole cover. When i get into those streches were i loose my feel on the greens is all about minimizing misses until it returns. For me, that means just getting the ball to the hole and not worring about line at all for putts over 10 feet. At the worst, give my self 3-4 feet coming back.
