Maybe he will show up in a carrot suit ... LMAO

If JD can get a few of those near misses to drop he will be in great shape. He ff to a good start sinking one for a bird off the green. That is always a postve way to start your day.

I don't have a bad club in my bag, they are all top quality equipment. However I am certainly the least skilled at using my driver. It does exactly what I tell it to do, I am just a poor communicator. Lol

Best hybrid to buy ? How did you narrow down your choice to those 2 candidates ? What is it about them that makes you believe either one of them is going to be the best out of all the hybrids on the market ? I think to truly find the best club for you is going to take either a lot of experimentation with many different clubs or work with a professional fitter who can help you narrow down the choices by matching each clubs attributes to your swing, ability, style ect. Or just pick which ever one gives you the warm fuzzy

Camo replied to Camo's topic in Golf Courses and Architecture

Somebody from here has to have been there ? Seems to be a top ranked resort by a few mags http://www.bouldersclub.com/Default.aspx?p=GenericModuleDefault&modID;=86651&modtype;=%20&ssid;=49712&vnf;=1 http://www.bouldersclub.com/ I am just sad the wife is not going, sounds like the spa is pimp. -
I would like to see any technology that helps show how amazing those golf shot are. That and more data on each shot a player makes. Also, yes mic up more players and caddies. Always cool to hear their conversation or remarks as they are in process of playing.

Just now watching today's action on the DVR and can't believe JD missed that birdie putt on 9 by a fraction. I count 3 birdie puts he missed by just a fraction. That an that 4 putt. Arrrg. And yet he is still near the top of the leader board. A very good 2 days of golf for JD He sounded like he is in a good frame of mind in his interview. Bodes well for the next round. That 4 putt could have seriously derailed anybody, especially an emotional player like JD

Ouch, just now watching on DVR and that was brutal, missed the birdie putt for the lead and then has 2 lip outs for a harsh double bogey...... Cost him the lead today. Hopefully he can shake that off and dial it in for the next round. Golf is a cruel mistress. Lol
-
Partly why I like him, he is far from perfect, he does the wrong things, he sez the wrong things, he is anti establishment. He shows his emotions for better or worse. And sure he has blown it in the past and yet he has not given up. Still out there trying to live the dream. I like that. And will pull for him as long as he is out trying to make it happen. I am a fan of guys with charter and adversity , for me guys like Fred couples are so boring I can't stand to watch.

ya I saw that...... here comes the train wre......

I am officially excited now. through 7 holes and he is in 2nd @ -8

His strategy and execution of it bested all others on the south course today. So thats is a win for us JD fans I suppose. You have to find the positives where you can when you are a JD fan. LoL A top 3 would be phenomenal but not likely, odds are probably better he shoots a 75 then a 65 tomorrow. so I am cheering him on for the win. He is my guy regardless.

At the end of Feb I am going to a BF Goodrich tire launch for the media. Bfg is flying us in for 3 days to preview a new tire they are bringing to market and entertaining us for the weekend. Get to golf with the Bfg marketing big wigs and I have to choose which of the 2 course to play. Anybody been ? Recommendations ? Both courses look amazing so I doubt I can choose badly. Just curious which course you have played and prefer ? Oh ya, going to go hot air ballooning and do some jeepin as well. Going to be a good day at work. Lol

oh Jelous, what a great event to see live....enjoy...post up pics

I liked the concept that you had, one day, one product one great price. I checked it daily waiting for the items I am wanting. Now it just seems like a discount store with no "buy now or miss out on a deal" feeling Obviously you know your business needs and have to do what is best for your biz, but I liked your old marketing scheme better. It was unique. If you have multiple inventory items available maybe carry them on that site and setup a new one www.deal-of-the-day-golf.com Best of both worlds, a variety of items on one site and a singular focus impulse deal for the other. Just my .02

Known them ? Yes Abide by them ? Not so much I choose #3 since I do carry and consult the rule book when needed.

Ya it is a TM R11 promo What makes it more funny though is Phil playing with them all dressed in black trying to make man boobs look tough
-
being a huge fan of the white driver, let me be the first to say that Justin and dustin look ridiculous in thier matching nurse outfits..... Makes JD look like he has some fashion sense. Lmao
-
Driving home I heard on the radio daly at -5. T5 Give em he'll JD 10 more minutes until the rerun comes on
-
Sitting here at home I will say 5:1 If I was in Vegas at the sports book and saw 3:1....... I would probably lay down a hundo just to make watching the event more exciting.
-
If jon daly can shot an 80 on tour, I think well let you have have a pass on a 100 every now and again. LoL
-
You need a change attitude. Tell yourself that blades are exactly what your game needs to get you to single digit handi. The added feedback will let you hone in and perfect your ball striking and drop a few strokes.

My son is not only a better golfer then I am as he is #2 on his high school varsity golf team but he is also a pro v ball snob. Since he relies on his sponsor to supply him with balls ( me ) I made him a bet he couldn't actually tell the difference in balls and that it was simply marketing that had him convinced of the superior performance of a particular ball. So we did a blind test. I teed up 5 different balls so he couldnt see the brand and told him I would buy him 2 dozen pro v balls if he could tell me which one was the pro v. Not only did he fail the first go around, he choose a tailor-made range ball on his second attempt......oh the horror. Lol Now there is nothing wrong with being loyal to a company and buying their product but sometimes it doesn't hurt to take a reality check and ask yourself why. Marketing is a powerful thing. fwiw, I bought him the pro v anyhow , even if it is a mental thing more then a physical thing. If playing the ball you like gives you the confidence or makes you happy then so be it. play the ball and enjoy the game.
