  2. Without spikes must be a bear on hilly courses?
  3. I play with the x-20s and have had pretty good luck with them. Callaway has a great preowned website www.callawaygolfpreowned.com you should check it out if you haven't already (I assume other company's do to). I bought my clubs new, but have since purchased forged wedges from the site, and wish I would have bought my irons there and saved some money. The thing with buying new is the clubs only look new for a couple of rounds. Plus the freedom to piece your set together is an added bonus. I got my irons at a box store and they limited my selections (i.e 4-PW, 4-PW, SW/AW, 3-9). I hit a 3 hybrid so that rules out the 3-9 set additionally like the feel of forged wedges from under 120 so that rules out the PW/AW/SW. Long story long, I was left buying an extra club.
  4. I always repair mine, and a few others in my path. There's no excuse for leaving one, unless of course you don't see it. This is the beauty of golf - to some extent we all have ownership of the environment we play in.
  5. dozen Pro-v1s. Can't wait to use them in the spring!
  6. Return the GPS and get an iPhone. Many great golf GPS apps (2 in particular DistanceMap and GolfLogix). I love mine, I can record my sing at the range with the camera, use it as a GPS on the course, and call in my beverage order before I hit the turn;-)
  7. I just picked up a FT-iz 10.5 (had been playing with FT5 - 13HT). I love it!. Ball screams off the face with a low/med trajectory. My FT5 hit beautiful moon shots (13deg HT) which helped my control, but in the end I was looking for a little more distance and I seemed to have found it with the FT-iz. My golf buddies cautioned me about changing something that was working, but in the end I'm happy I switched. Definitely try a few different clubs before you buy, you might release your Hyper X was better all along.
  8. 1. Clubs 2. Gloves (2+) 3. Lots of extra Balls 4. Divot Tool 5. Gatorade
